I will start - I am unhappy about the routing that is not what they promised us.
I am also unhappy about babies, there is no effort or thought put into babies, and I am also unhappy a out bad gaming options.................... like this..............................

Meh it's a game nothing is perfect. I realize that patches can fix alot of stuff and the Camp version of the game was not the final build. So there is nothing about the game that is upsetting to me. :)

So far, I've only seen one glaring routing issue. Based on what others have said (for instance, one Camper said they took their Sim to a location with one small door and the Sims had no problems routing around each other to get out the single-wide door), I think routing is improved. But I don't expect it to be perfect.

I'm not impressed with anything I see about babies. Breastfeeding? For all we know, behind the pixels, the woman's breasts could be turning into a swamp monster and devouring her baby.:p Seriously, the babies are all too similar, the interactions are pretty limited, and if the person has to put the baby down between every interaction, it will drive me nuts. With that said, I hardly ever play with babies so it's no big deal to me.:whistling:

The minor wall texture glitch will probably go mostly unnoticed by me. The corner cabinet can likely be changed to match--I would assume that was user error rather than a game glitch.

    What I dislike--
The grass looks like moss. I can get over it but I would really prefer if the grass had actual texture.
The bloom is so bloomy. I'm hoping we can tone this down.
The white outlines when you mouse over something. I think I understand the idea behind doing it but, honestly, I find it annoying. I'm hoping this can be turned off. Honestly, I don't think I'd mind it during Build/Buy but during the game, I just don't like it.
Everything else to me, I'm reserving judgment on until I've had a chance to play. For instance, I LOVED CASt but if they make up for it in ease of building and lots of options, I can live without it.

So far the only thing I'm discouraged about is that it looks like I'll need to use mods at first if I want some Sims to have "boring," everyday careers. (Still vaguely hoping that there were some uncoded careers when Creators Camp was happening and that there'll be a few more in the final build.)

Oh jeez, don't turn this into the official forums where everyone just complains. Routing is not perfect, like previously stated. In every game, there are always going to be routing issues. I don't know much about the tech but I assume it's really hard to code stuff. There are many variables that effect routing.

As for careers, I think they wanted something new since the basic careers have been in every base game. I'm sure with EPs, they will be added back.

As for babies, the tied to the crib thing makes sense. In real life, babies are always in the crib, there's no arguing that. Sure, parents hold their children, you can do that. Taking them away from the crib is what was removed, but it is not that serious. You can only walk around and sit with them. Sims put them on the floor to do other stuff. What are you upset about exactly? Not being able to carry your baby and take them to the neighbors? Your sim would put the baby on the floor when you have to go to the bathroom or eat.

Graphic issues will always happen but can be fixed.

They will probably add ghosts due to the negative response in a Supernatural type EP. It only makes sense.

I'm guessing you have the possibility of making your sims act childish or not as you control their actions and their aspirations, etc. The Sims has always been on a bridge between reality and nonsense, still hasn't changed.

Am I the only one who absolutely loves this game? :( I am so excited for it, I don't care if it's perfect or not, I am such a huge sims fan, and even taking out all of the stuff they have, I seriously don't care, the game looks so cool! :D Just wish I could've gotten to play the demo, but hey, I'm not all to bothered. I can wait. :)

Why I don't agree with you is that I have played the sims from 2000 and there has always been a entertaining realism from this game. I have always enjoyed the sims with their flaws and bug, but this time I am sooooooooo disappointed that EA couldn't get the basics right :(

It doesn't bother me that much, to be honest. I'll be switching from ts4 to ts3 quite a lot anyway. Besides, I like to make my sim's life like my own, I hardly ever used pools in ts3, it got a bit boring after a while, I would rather they take more time on it and add more stuff along with it, like inflatables, more pool objects, maybe water-parks and whatnot. Just my opinion, I would rather they didn't put it in the base game with just a ladder as an object, but took longer on it and gave us a bunch of more stuff related to it. And toddlers, I always changed the settings so they would age up quicker, I would teach them basic skills (walking, talking, etc) and I'd be glad when they age up. Same with children, they annoyed me, haha. I preferred teenagers to adults. I always played with families in those age groups. I would make other families with lots of children and whatnot, but I always preferred to play with just one sim, and lead them on a crazy adventure in life. :D
