Oh gosh that just shows how much toddlers are needed, that is just bizarre.

I mean, with their time constraints, what else could have been sacrificed?

Do they still have YA? I always found that to be a bit pointless.

Wow could it take any longer? And are there really no ghosts?

I feel like the TS4 version of "Supernaturals" will have Ghosts in them... let's hope.
Although the ghosts in TS3 were useless, I really loved them in TS2. (I freaked every time I heard the "ghost is somewhere in the house" music)

I've always got this theory : cas was so intuitive, like playing with clay. So why no pool ? Because water would turn ur playdoh little sim into a pile of crap. Pile-of-crap substance ghosts were just too nasty . Wallah, toddlers were shocked and disappear. They furiously cursed the game, made it impossible to edit terrain until 2016, patch number 45

It's too late to add that stuff even with a petition being accepted.

I know that, but it just surprised me. I've never known there to be a petition about EA before, seems like a lot of people are upset about it, although I can't say I blame them.

List of features, objects, items included in the game that are either new to the series or new to the base game and not in TS3 base game.

List of missing features, objects and items that were in previous base games, patched into the game from Expansion Packs, or previously listed as being included in the game by gurus.

Thank you for the links. Although it's a bit confusing that one list is features that weren't in sims 3 and the other compares to all base games.

Both are designed to highlight the preference or dislike for the game, probably as you noted based on the comments at the top of each.

I think it's the most objective view you'll likely get, to be honest. There's really no way to do an objective list. For some people, the loss of toddlers can't be made up by ANY features included in TS4. For others, toddlers are a negligible loss but being able to pick up and move a whole house makes up for any items that were removed. Your best bet is to go through the two lists, verify anything you're not sure about, and then decide on your own which things matter most to you so you can decide if it's worth purchasing or not. Some people are pre-ordering even knowing all the "missing" features, some people are going to wait to watch LPs or see what EPs are released, some people wouldn't put it on their computer if it were free. Only you will be able to tell which is your best option.
