If the demo does come out August 12, will it be my time August 12, or somewhere else?

I'm going to assume it's PST time because The Sims HQ is located in California, right?

I guess. But, and I don't mean to be a debbie downer, it don't think August 12 was ever confirmed.

I just did a quick search and the midnight-release EPs for Sims 3 seemed to be released at midnight EST (New York time). But I wouldn't plan on anything in particular for the CAS demo.

Hm, that makes sense too, because it hits midnight first in the east coast.

No, it was never confirmed but they did say it was to be released to the public this month. Not sure how that specific date came about but it's our only hope lol.

I hate to say it, but I think they would have announced the demo release date by now if it was the 12th. I hope I'm wrong.

Yeah, I really hope it comes out on the 12th but apart of me thinks it's not. On twitter when they were doing they code giveaway the last tweet the put out when it was over said something along the lines of "join us again next Friday" or something like that, and Friday is definitely not the 12th. So I think they are just going to continue doing the giveaway, but then again I have no clue because they are not saying a thing about it.

I'm thinking the same, but maybe it will pop in people's Origin like: Surprise motherfucker! You get a demo! And you get a demo! And even you!

Oh man! I'm really bringing people down, don't lose hope!

Maybe they'll just milk it until September 2, and then before we can complain further about getting a public copy of the demo, the full game will be out and ta-daaaaa!

And does Origin not give something away every Friday? They didn't say it was the Sims demo they were giving out.

Well, I just got the impression this wasn't the first giveaway, but I'm sure it was the first Sims giveaway. I could be wrong.

They do giveaways every Friday.
