6:15 am AEST August 12... No Demo....

I'll check this evening when I get back from work - maybe it will be out then.

It's still the 11th in the US, EA is in Cali which is Pacific Standard Time. You have to use their time and then it's usually around 10ish because they have to get their coffee, eat some doughnuts, and make new Sims of themselves in CAS before they actually get down to doing any work. Oh and they may send out a couple of cryptic tweets too first.

Yup in the US it is only 4:00pm Monday, maybe they might wait until it is Tuesday in all the countries they are releasing the game in.

Tomorrow is going to feel like a very long day at work! I'll be desperate to get back and see if it has been released in the UK yet!

I hope everyone gets the demo tomorrow!

I fear for the biggest disappointment in video game history T_T

If they don't release that demo tomorrow it's going to be absolute chaos and disappointment.

Also still the 11th in the EU. Well, most of it at least. But really, if they do release it in the 12th, they're going do it at a reasonable time, in their own timezone +1 for trying, though.

What do we do if it's not released? How do we cope?

Well........

You could curl up in the fetal position in the corner of the room, thumb in mouth, rocking back and forth, and crying out about how it's a "cruel, cruel, demo-less world".....

Or....

You could plot your revenge against EA by thinking of all the fun ways you could TeePee their corporate office with those goofy plumbob headbands.

Or.....

You could come here and engage in some hilarious rage posts. Really get your b**ch fest on and let it rip.

I vote for option 3, I do enjoy a good rage fest. I've got mine wound and ready to let loose. Feel free to join me.

Although option two does have some deviant merit (of course I'm being silly with options 1 and 2 and would never suggest or condone that we should storm the corporate office while waving around those goofy headbands like some sort of toxic neon colored pitch forks......)

SimsVIP tweeted it might come out on the 13th.....

Just a hunch, but seeing as EA is not doing their press Conference the day before gamescom begins (12), the demo might be out on the 13th.

Well, people shoudn't get mad. Because EA never confimred August 12th. They said later this summer, but nothing about August 12th. But if they release this demo a couple of days before the launch, then I will be so mad!

Yeah, we kind of got carried away with the assumption that it would be out on the 12th. That date might just be the target for going gold. Or maybe they got the date of Gamescon wrong. Still, I can't help hoping.

Well considering that August 12 was a rumor from the very start it wouldn't surprise me. Another ginormous nail in the coffin is the fact that sixaM never even announced release dates for it.

All in all, if you put too much faith on the whole August 12 rumor your going to put yourself up to disappointment if it doesn't come true. Especially if the info didn't come for the people who are developing the game too. All I can say is don't become too trusting on the "rumor" because its likely not true

If it did come out on the 12th I would think that it would come out the same time as the waves have gone out which would be 5 pm PST I think.

Well considering that many think that SimsVIP is somehow a voice for EA, that rumor she posted is really going to get people going if the demo isn't given out on the 13th. Bad idea on her part to jump into this rumor speculation game.
