I for one am done. I've let all of my steam out on the matter, and I for one am ready for this game. I went back on the site because i got an alert that someone replied to a post i had done before I migrated here, telling me good riddance and that I don't belong. I had to restrain my self from cursing them all out and hitting the report button for harassment. But I'm better now, I'm happy that there are people out there who shares the excitement for this game despite some let downs that we all can live with. I'm not going to lie, as soon as the sims 4 official release date came, I was instantly bored with the sims 3 altogether, because in the back of my head i'm saying "Pff girl you know this game is boring now. Hit that quit button!" and I have, numerous times. Those people on that site, from the venom they spit and how childish they act, don't deserve to be called true sims fans. Because sims fans learn to evolve with the game in my opinion. I've been with this game since the jump, a few years after the sims 1 came out as I was too young to use a computer. And I've stuck with this game every since, I have learned to evolve with the changes of the games franchise and copped with the changes, coming to my senses that things change and there's nothing I can do to change it.
Sure there were things I did not like about the sims 3, take it for the fact that the game was to evolved that you need a top of the line computer in order to run it with no problem; but I still played anyway, accepting the change with no fuss. But this whole sims 4 thing has gotten out of hand. These people on there who were attacking the innocent are people ranging in the 20's acting like they're 10. How childish and uncalled for. but then a light came, I saw a forum thread with the link to this site, read a few forum posts, and signed my butt right up. Instantly I became more than active, posting on every reply that spoke to me, becoming more active than i usually am online. I love this site.
But, i know this all can change as soon as those venomous snakes click those links and start hell on this site too. and when I tell you if that happens, I'm not leaving; I'm standing my ground for my rights, their childish acts will not be tolerated at all on here, because I'm not going to sit here and let them rule this site too. So for all of you, please, try not to make this forum known to them, those people only want others to see their negativity and to agree and follow them which is unfair. They think they can tell others to cancel their pre-orders and hate the sims 4 or else. To be honest, I think the guru's really don't care about them no longer, they see the childish acts and they choose to ignore it because it would be a whole big deal if they respond. If they are, then I thank them, because they listen to simmers who handle their disappointment maturely and they respond respectfully. I respect that, an I don't hate EA at all. I don't care what other people say about them,they work hard enough and i know that the sims 3 is not the only thing they work on. if anything I'm grateful that they do enough to reach out to their fans and work hard enough to try and make a decent game. I'm not praising them like they are so perfect, but i have to pay my respects where its due
