How to have baby girls??

I have had so many kids. But NO girls. Is there any way to increase chances of a girl without any cheat codes? ?

I keep having boys too. Its like an epidemic. I just want some more variety is all

Does the apple/watermelon thing still work at all?

It seems pretty random as to what gender of child you will get. I had a boy then a girl.

Also, unfortunately I don't think the apple/watermelon thing works. I don't even know if there are watermelons.

I'm not sure if there is watermelon in game because I haven't done any gardening yet but while my sim was making fruit parfait she was chopping watermelon. This could be completely irrelevant information but I just thought I'd throw it out there lol.

Haha, perhaps then! My sim is gardening level 5, and I have yet to see any trace of watermelon seeds, but it may just be too soon to tell. Mysterious indeed.

Okay I am going to have my sim daughter Charlotte study Gardening now so we can figure out if watermelons can indeed be grown. I am sure there is wiki somewhere that can confirm this but I think it is more fun to discover ingame

I think I figured it out. To have a baby girl buy a yellow crib and to have a boy buy a blue crib

It's funny because I have the exact opposite problem. I can't stop having girls lol. My boyfriend almost took it out on my laptop for producing sim girls even tho he crossed his fingers every time for a son to carry his legacy lol.

That's a neat little thing to know about haha. I kept letting the game auto-insert a crib but now I'll try some different methods (A)

I've had a good mix of boys and girls. In fact, my sim couple just had twin girls today. (And the poor grandfather hates children...oh he's just miserable xD)

If your really desperate to have a girl you can add a girl to your household
