Unwanted Visitors / Guests , can't get red of them!!!

I am having the same problem with unwanted guests. I say "goodbye" but they won't leave. Help!

I can't believe no one has yet responded to this thread - I have an unwanted guest in my sims 4 house too and I want him out. Never invited him in the first place. Kendrick is his name, and I have spent the last 6 hours trying to remove him to no avail, can someone please tell us all how to do it? The old way from sims 3 doesn't work, there is no way to remove a person using the move objects on cheat. Thanks.

The only thing I have found that works is if you know where the sim lives, then you "travel" to their house and drop them off there then leave. It only works if you know where they live though.

Thanks I will try that. I don't hold out much hope though as I previously tried taking them with me to a bar but they refused to go, so it sent me alone. How annoying. I cannot figure out how to get rid of this idiot, he is wearing a big helmet and a spacesuit with a computer on his chest, his name is Kendrick Stephens and I did not create him or invite him. Please, if anyone has any ideas how to get rid of someone please tell me, several of us cannot figure it out.

Just as I thought, tried that and it said Kendrick would rather not come. You cannot force these people out of your house. I cannot invite him to swim and then remove the ladder either. I wish I knew how to kill him or get him to leave. Someone please help!!!

That's really strange. I have a few people I still cannot get rid of. There has to be some type of glitch somewhere. Hopefully there's a patch or update soon to fix it.

travel with who ever is there to a community lot and then go home they will not come with you. I threw a dinner party and they where there for days LOL. So i took them all to town went home and no more YIPPIE

YEp this has happened to me since the last update...I have people that wont leave....grrrr hope they fix it soon!

Im not sure, but try to find the people in .. what do you call it, town overview, where you can see the people in your town.. and delete them. Whenever my sims meets a stupid townie, I note the name and delete them. See if it works.

Yes, there is a bug in the game from the start. Sometimes if you have a visitor and ask for a game of chess or help with homework, the visitor keeps playing chess or help with homework long after everbody has gone to bed. You cant ask them to leave. Use testingcheats true and point at sim, choose reset. Then the sim will stop and leave.

Check to see that your lot is set as Residential. Some of them got reset to Generic with the patch and that is what is causing the problem. If your lot is set as Generic, you have to evict your family(don't worry, you won't lose anything. I've had to do this a couple of times) and then go in and set it to Residential and then move your family back in.

You are right, I had this issue a couple of times, where a residential home "by itself" changed to generic as I moved sims to the house. Then your house becomes a public ground with sims acting like they own the place. It might be fun to start a household like this.. It has not happend for some time, maybe a patch has helped out.
