I'm going to wait until I see the System Requirements before I make any decisions, don't wanna go ahead if my laptop can't handle it.

My mom preordered the Premium Edition when she went to pick up my Sims 3 ITF game.

I won't be pre-ordering until I see certain things have most definitely been added. Then I will most likely pre-order a digital copy through Origin.

I don't purchase hard copies anymore, since my 18 year old nephew has a bad habit of sneaking in, and stealing anything he can carry. He sold about 20 of my games. He can't do that with the digital copies. :p

Untill i see more & read more information then i may pre-order it around the time when it comes out. I hate pre ordering months in advanced. Also i want to know what the prices are first.

I know by how I am I am getting TS4 day 1, but I just don't pre-order asap as I used to. Not getting the game any sooner. But as I get older, it is a matter of seeing how the game will be too. Hopefully we can get a gameplay trailer soon.

I will probably buy TS4 but I won't pre-order it because soon after it's been released there will probably be a sale so I'll wait for the sale and also my mum's buying me a new laptop so I want to buy one that meets the requirements of TS4.

I use Origin as well (I'm called Rethka786) and I hope your nephew got into trouble, that's a wicked thing to do.

I'm going to try to pre-order the Premium Edition through Amazon. My oldest son gave me a $50.00 gift card for mother's day. I've now asked for Amazon gift cards for my birthday which is in June so we'll see after that if I have enough to get it or not. I'm hoping I have enough to get the game AND the Prima Guide....

I already pre-ordered the Premium Edition off Amazon as we order a lot of stuff from there. I don't live close to any stores that would sell them, so it is just easier this way instead of waiting to go into town and spending on gas just to pick it up. I am sure my computer could handle the requirements as it isn't old and runs Sims 3. I am sure it isn't for just windows 8 as well, many people switched back to windows 7 or going back to windows 9 soon.

I am looking forward to it. I was greatly disappointed in Sims 3. I still play for now, but I often find myself bored as the gameplay seems lacking. I am hoping Sims 4 is much more exciting. Hearing that they are going back to their roots makes me happy. I never got the change to experience The Sims and Sims 2. Those games seemed wonderful and I see why so many people liked them and those games were some of highest selling games.

I will Pre-Order the game when Dad is Pre-Ordering Dragon Age III and get my sister's birthday Present at the same time. Probably the new Kirby Game.
But we first have to discuss that, since money is not growing on trees (unless you live in the Sim world) XD

I'm still on the fence about preordering. I want to go out and buy it on launch day if I can since I've got the cash set aside now but at the same time I wonder if the premium edition will sell out in my area before I can get it. I haven't had an issue with that in the past though, I think the Walmart near my apartment still had the collector edition of TS3 when the first couple of EPs were out

I'm not pre-ordering. It's not so much that I don't want to, it's more that I'm waiting for christmas to roll around. Besides that I get to see if the game is worth it before actually getting it, and shipping won't be a problem with digital download.

I've pre-ordered the premium edition from Amazon. I'm super excited! My daughter will probably order hers before summer is out. This will be the first year she won't be living at home so we'll need two copies. I don't mind the digital, but for the base game I really want the disc.

As for my reasons, I really believe that the game will be so much better. The new engine will allow so much more and the way they are putting it together. Yes, no toddlers and no pools, they will add that eventually. No cast, well, I used that a lot, but I've watched CAS carefully and I think they are allowing enough options to satisfy me. I have to travel two towns over to get to walmart or gamestop (shocked there is a gamestop) but my hubby has gone in on release day for TS3 EPs and they had to search the back for the game cause they hadn't even opened the package. The walmart hasn't even put up any pre-order info. It's just best to pre-order if I want the disc on release day LOL.

I've pre-ordered every base and expansion since the first offering, though I've cancelled the Sims 4. My PC is more than capable of handling whatever specs they throw at us, and while I love the overall appearance of the game, too much has been removed for my liking without offering enough in exchange. Had they said something like "We removed toddlers, though babies can now do this and that ..." etc, then I would have kept the pre-order.

I'll wait until either more good news lands or I can see the game durig sctual gameplay and not staged gameplay.
