Remake Expansions

I think that IF EA remakes expansions from the other games to Sims 4, and you already have the old expansions, that you should get them for free.
New expansions, however you don't get free.
Also if you get an expansion pack for Sims 3 after the one for The Sims 4 comes out it's not free.

This will never happen. EA is a selfish company in the truest of the meaning of selfish. EA wants big money for half baked and borrowed ideas. It is nice to think EA may have a soul but they do not. We are all just people who got addicted to a game.

I aggree and it also didnt happen in the past as an example the expansion pack for animals in sims 3 and sims 2.

EA doesn't have a soul at all. If they were to remake expansion packs, though, I'm betting on Uni, Seasons, and Pets being the ones that are definitely going to be remade...

Anything that has been remade from TS1 like what you listed plus celebrities, vacation, and magic.

I wouldn't necessarily say EA does not have a soul...but they are trying to run a business here. It makes horrible business sense to do something of this sort and I do not blame them at all for not doing so. I want them to succeed so they can continue to bring us these fun and addicting games

We have to keep a sense of realism when pooling our hopes for TS4. It would be fantastic, but is just downright a never-do.

Valve I would say is equal to EA however they have a soul and are business. If Steam and Origin both had all the sims games I would drop EA/Origin like a hot potato and never look at it again. Steam has some sims games but not too many.

As much as I would like this to happen I don't think they would have enough time and resources to include everything in the sims 4. I wouldn't mind them not having things from the past expansion packs as long as they take their time on the base game to not make it so buggy as the sims 3 was. But then again it would be nice of them them have weather in the base game

i gues ea might use this idea by making a bad expansion pack for sims 4 like only features of sims 2 to make the player want to buy the real expansion pack like a demo.

Steam distributes up to 70% of all digital games out there and has over 54 million active users. It is a much larger platform with many more users and they are quite ahead of EA's Origin (with only just above 9 million). This would explain why Steam works so much smoother than Origin, it's had more development. I do despise Origin, but that does not mean EA does not have a soul and are out to get you. They definitely need to improve in certain areas, but I don't see the reason for all the negativity. We should be excited about things to come! :lol:

Out to get me a bit harsh, but maybe pass up clear opportunities where it is clear they can do without much money and make customers very happy.

The matter is not they remaking EPs, they will remake them for sure, but i want they to remake em right, in TS3 the EPs were often downgraded so they could cash part of the content in an overpriced pack at store.

Agreed, remake them in a new light.
