Well, I just took the plunge....

I'm not really a collector and if I use a guide it's usually only in the beginning. I know my GW2 guide is buried under a pile on my desk somewhere but at the time I "had to have it". I'll have to look at the Sims 4 info again (when I'm not feeling so lazy) to see what the difference is between this guide and the Prima guide. Thanks for your helpful input.

I could really care less about the guide. Chances are they'll be scanned and put online days after the release so.
I remember getting a plumbob USB for TS3. Now they're giving a statue?

I don't trust anything from internet. I stick to buy things at store... because what if in 5 or 10 years later.. Origin discontinued and you may want to re-download it again on a new computer? What are you going to do? Origin... kiss my *mumble*

There is something abut owning hard copies that makes me feel warm inside. But with The Sims it becomes a case where it takes up a lot of space, but that won't stop me.
About the Prima guide, not sure if I'll get that or not, but it might be a good idea to be well educated in how the game works, unlike most games where I can basically get the idea by following the story.
