Demo Issues

I'm thinking I won't be the only one and I'm hoping that a lot of people can find help here, but my demo isn't working correctly.
My laptop is a gaming laptop and has 16 GB of RAM so it should have no problem running the demo (or anything else) and yet. The game takes AGES to launch and when it does it goes black after the intro video.

I'm at a total loss.

If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them. I'm fairly tech savvy, so even complex solves would be great.

I'm no expert, but have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?

Have you try to change the setting on Demo?

I'm having issues too - it says every time I try to activate it that the action is temporarily unavailable.

Have you tried closing all other programs before loading the demo? Even with all that RAM, that may be what's holding you back. *shrugs*

Guys if anyone is having issue with black screen after intro ..with llama face if you click with righ mouse button.. rREINSTAL ORIGIN... I had same issue.. and when Ireinstaled it it was ok.. problem is that sims demo cant connect corectly to your origin cause its not instaled right.. be sure you can find origin in programes when you open Start

Just try reinstaling origin that worked for me

strange cause when i reinstaled origin it was ok after then O_O
