Graphics most likely confirmed

The graphics might stay as they are seen in images of the Sims 4. EA released an official gameplay trailer found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjPPjU8OARg

Hmm...somehow I like sims 4 version much better...it must be that new graphics rubbing off on me^^ LOL. Jokes aside, heads of sims really do look better.

It's mainly the hair I don't like, including eyebrows

Did anyone watch the Sims 4 LB from gamescom earlier today? The part I was able to catch was mostly CAS. Was there any more about game play or towns/worlds?

No, they showed to us only CAS.

I was there for the entire thing, waited in there for about 7 hours, and was dissapointed when they mostly only showed CAS, was hoping to see the actual gameplay with a family. Into the Future looks like it'll be an amazing EP though. I find it hard to play The Sims 3 anymore because I'm so excited for The Sims 4!

I agree, thought I don't like the males in that example as much, but they looked fine in the game play trailer.

I'm glad that the graphics are confirmed. I just love the nostalgia they bring me.

Yeah but, that's sims for you they have always been basic I'm just happy they fit properly now rather than how they were in sims 3.

And its good about the boot example that I saw on a video
How if they are tight pants the boots will go over the pants and if they are loose the boots will sit under the pants.
Whereas in the Sims 3, I had a lot of major 'boot' issues aha

I hope they have better hairstyles than the ones we have seen in the trailer and pictures

I hope they are!! because we have came up with a lot of good ideas that we want to see in the sims 4

I like the new cartoony art style, though I can see how some people don't like them as it's not realistic enough. But realistic is not always equal to good-looking. In the Sims 3, the devs seemed to focus too much on making the Sims look realistic and not enough on making them look good, so they ended up rather ugly despite being fairly realistic. I prefer these new warm, wacky, and friendly-looking Sims and I think this style is more suited to them.

The quality of the graphics, however, needs more work, especially the plastic-helmet-looking hair, as others mentioned. There's also blockiness in the shapes and there's a slight gray tone over the colors. A bit more richness and lushness on the textures and colors would be appreciated. I hope Maxis can still work on these issues.
