I started my day and i had a really big idea for the sims 4:
temperature in the sims houses and ooutside isolation of houses winsdows that can be opened efecting the temperature in the house also heating powered by elektrisity or with gas and water
so also the possibility for sims to die in explosions or be killed slilent with gas so sims can repair their boiler and check for him etc.

i hope it is understandabel (i know my spelling is bad) and im from germany,

I love the idea of temperature control in the house, really hot or really cold can affect their moods. Eco-friendly sims can use the the windows more use increase their moods. I don't really like the idea of getting killed with gas though, i don't know why, it just seems a little too dark haha.

I think temperature was introduced in TS3 Seasons but that was just a general outside temp. It would be cool to have it affected wherever your sim was and if the windows or doors were open. I don't know about those new deaths though, sounds a bit gruesome for sims.

I'm not sure I'm so much a fan of inside temperatures. Most of us set the temp and forget it in real life.

However, along those lines, perhaps if your sim's home does not have a central heating and cooling system installed, then it could be that they would have to mitigate the outside temp via ways of fans, fireplaces, etc....or suffer negative freezing/overheating moodlets.

True, however if it becomes chilly (draft/open window) most would adjust the temp.

Well yea i gues the idea With the deaths is a bit stupid it was only a idea though but still if their cooling or heating system is damaged their inside temperature schould change so sims can get negative or püositiv effects

And what i forget that energy bills can be seen by the player so you know where you need to get better heating or isolate your home and some kind of detector to see where heat is leeking out of your house (like a window that can´t be accesed because of a bookshelf or something)

They can't adjust the temp if they don't have a central heating/cooling system.

I gues tuet can adjust it by opening the window nur i Wohle like it to be Linda iratick so you buy a heating cooling System to control it better

Not every home in real life has a central heating/cooling system. In an expansion like this suggested one, I would expect it to be something that can be purchased during build mode if your sims can afford it.

I also think that temperature was introduced with season or it could be an adition of seasons.
