Happy No Simpoints in The Sims 4

I am actually happy there are not Simpoints in The Sims 4. The reason is because now EA is not prohibited by the laws and restrictions placed on DLC sold with virtual currency. This means store sets, venues, and worlds can appear freely in retail stores.

Store sets in stores? Count me in!
I may still have to deal with the HST (Harmonized Sales Tax *sigh*, thanks Ontario) but it beats having to plug my credit card all the time.

but it also means people have to shell out real money to pay for items others might want which is the good point of simpoints.

This could mean more Stuff Packs but if Stuff Packs don't return then there will be more Expansion Packs. There might not be any items to buy with Sim Points so that would mean more Mods and Custom Content.

This probably mean that Store itens will be sold for real money, so now you dont need to pay loads of money a bunch more of simpoints to get your itens.
EA giving up the Store concept would be too good to be true.

Won't they just have a store and sell items for money online . I don't want to go to a shop to buy store items...

I hated it when I would have a number of Simpoints left that was too low to spend on anything and in order to use them, I would have to buy another bundle.

I have 5 simpoints, I've had them for about four years xD
