Sim Dating

    This is totally random (and I'm almost embarrassed to post it) but does anyone miss the gypsy matchmaker from TS2 who used to drop blind dates at your doorstep? She was awesome!

    Sim dating is so time consuming for me - I guess because I'm just weird about it. I spent the better part of yesterday trying to find a suitable partner for a sim I had sent to university, Ms. Gwendolyn Alto...future world-renowned surgeon! I was losing track after a while and started taking notes (which my son thought was creepy) with a "yes" list and a "no" list. Most of the "no" list was made up of incompatible zodiac matches. Other disqualifiers included already being in a relationship (my sim is a good girl) or traits like commitment-phobe, dislikes kids, evil, etc.

    Am I the only crazy simmer who spends this much time on finding a suitable partner? Other than online dating, does anyone have any shortcuts I might try?

    Not at all! She was annoying I think I only used her once when I TS2 first came out. I usually just make the partner myself.
