I AM DONE WITH EA FORUMS

I'm sick and tired of those brats whining about something not in a new version of a game. But then for them to attack those of us getting the game is really hitting under the belt. I wish they would grow up and try to act mature. I'm sorry if i sound rude but i'm tired of it really am

Wich EA Forum ? TS3 forum or Forum.ea.com ?

I understand the feeling of anticipation and impatience but to take it to the extreme levels that I've seen... its just out of this world. I can't blame you for getting out of there, I usually try to stay away from official forums for that very reason. I find it that unofficial forums and blogs tend to have more "mature" and tolerant people than official forums ever do.

I couldn't agree more Nick! There was a thread about being happy and when I agreed I was called a sheep. It doesn't hurt my feelings, I am a big girl, but it is just annoying and uncalled for. Then another gamer was belittled for being young. So unnecessary!

There's a difference between stating your opinion and being rude about it. I post there sometimes but I'm afraid every time I post I will have my head chewed off. x.x

Yep, it's always the official forums for a lot of games that tend to have these immature, biased individuals. It gives off a really toxic experience.

I've yet to be on an official forum of any type of game where more than half of the participants aren't acting like uncivilized humans flinging poop back and forth at each other.

That place was never "good to health" if i do say so myself, but in the last months it blowed out of control.

What's with the official forums that can bring so much toxicity in one person? And why is it that unofficial forums and blogs have much better communities in general? Does the dev presence have anything to do with it? Sometimes I feel like people in there just forget that forums are a place of discussion and not a diary of frustrations where they drop all their problems and expect something to change... only to be mad when someone contradicts or replies to them (kinda like when someone makes a comment off a diary page they wrote).

I've abandoned the Ea forums too. Everyone is so rude. I couldn't believe it.

The negativity is saddening. It's not even constructive anymore. I understand that people are unhappy with some of the changes to the game, but to bash it and others? It's annoying.

I have been trying to stick around there to get information on the game but there is just so much hate. Its getting worse now because of the whole baby thing.

I'm giving EA the benefit of the doubt on this one. I'm hoping a couple of years from now, when EPs and SPs have been released, this game will be amazing.

Yea, I just hopped on here after a recommendation from another simmer. I can't take the official forum anymore (the subforum in the official TS3 site)

I agree the sims 3 forum has become so toxic I'am really excited for the sims 4 you can't even post about being happy about the sims 4 without being called a sheep.

I agree, I like reading everyones opinion but that forum is getting a little monotonous. One negative thread after another and when you express your desire to buy The Sims 4 they jump down your throat for supporting EA. I for one am super excited for The Sims 4 and can't wait! Thank you to the creators of this forum and thank you to all the friendly new peeps!!
