Toddlers: Hint or not?!?

Toddlers may be useless to most of people but the team should removed most of useless things such as skills, feeding, likes, etc... So, we the players can pick it up... holding, place it in the crib... stay there all day if we want, treat them like an actual plant or a piece of deco until birthday's coming up to become a child as the skills and everything created.

I used to think like that too but after that hint of information that our Sims are actually going to get more traits than TS3 ever had (the ones we choose during CAS are just a portion of it - think of who we are by birth and what we become with life's experience) make me at least consider growing a Sim, just to see if it actually makes any difference at all. But really, at the end of the day I still don't really care about toddlers.

But just because its not a simming experience for ourselves doesn't mean others who like it have to live without it. Its not fair. I'm pretty a sure a good portion of the people who play Sims have a family of their own, and they would either like to re-create themselves in game, or simply because they love kids.

That's very true...to each their own. I do realize lots of people enjoy the experience of raising their own sims, so I don't argue with that. Just stating that it doesn't both me one way or another if the game includes toddlers or not.

What I took from that, is (this could be wishful thinking!) that they've seen how pissed the community got (over 20,000 sigs on the petition; that's impressive!!) and even though they can't add them before game release, at some point, we'll be getting them either through an EP (my personal hope; a family themed EP!) or a free update/patch, like the TS3 updates!

Seriously, I understand why people are freaking about toddlers but there is no possible way that the Sims team won't ever put toddlers in the game. To me it wouldn't make sense for them to keep them out entirely. I personally think they will put toddlers in through an EP or maybe even a patch but most likely an EP.

With all the outrage over Toddlers, they are most likely going to be added later on.

They've removed so much I have this feeling that all this stuff that has been removed is gonna be added in future expansion packs.
