Please note, i've purely copied this from the official site. Everything below was compiled by a member called bflury on the official sims 3 forums. These do not reflect the views, beliefs of myself nor http://sims4forum.com We neither confirm or deny the information below as fact. We are just sharing for the sake of informing users asking.

Please do not argue, get aggressive, name-call or troll. Constructive conversations and debates only. This site will not tolerate abuse the like to members of opposing views! :) Play nice everyone.

NOTE: This is a list of features that were COMPLETELY CUT, REDUCED, or TWEAKED for the worst from previous base versions within The Sims series. It DOESN'T include missing expansion pack features that should be base by now (i.e. Weather) or new features promised for Sims 4, but later cut such as Colors Impacting Emotions and Woohoo Skills.

FUTURE PROBABILITY: ABSOLUTELY NONE of these features mentioned below have been suggested as coming to Sims 4 at a later point. In fact, a few have been called out as impossible. For example, it is INCORRECT to assume Toddlers will make it back with EP. There is no promise or suggestion or even slightest hint that says that will happen.

UPDATES: Please post any additions along with a source. I will not make changes without sources directly from EA, SimGuru's, YibSims, or screenshots/videos. Corrections are welcome, but to be clear your opinion alone on why a feature is listed is generally not a correction.

SOURCES: Sources are indicated below with the blue (x). I am in the process of going back and linking directly to the source. If you happen to see a black (x) and know the source please reply.

COVERAGE: We got covered on Honeywells blog! Awesome job guys! Keep spreading the news!

THANKS: A big shout out to everyone on this thread who has helped to ensure this list is accurate and complete!!!

To be clear the features listed below are not rumors. Everything below has been confirmed with sources linked below or mentioned in this thread.

Some of the features missing is maybe a big deal, but some are not.

My brain has reached the point where I agree with those who say they wait with some of untill the EP's starts to release.

For example, toddlers in Generation, Pool in Seasons, Ghosts in Supernatural + stuff packs.

We'll have to live with whats left out, and look forward to new content.

Some of these really bother me, some of them don't.

I think it's sort of unfair to list the expansion pack things that are missing from Sims 4 Base, though. We didn't have a lot of those things with the other base games either. Patched into the base game generally means it came with an expansion pack and they decided to give it to everyone.

That list was created with negative intentions.

Of course it was, and having negative intentions is all fine and good but if you're going to do something, do it well.

They're opening themselves up to people tearing this list apart thus reducing the impact of the list. And also, it's not fair.

They've made this list to bash the game based on changes, yet they don't explain the reasoning or benefit of these changes..

This list and the list of things included were both created with other agendas in mind. However, I think they both serve a great purpose, which is to inform people what kinds of things they can expect to see what things might not show up. I personally think it's manipulative to include things that were patched into the game and even have some issues with including things that came from previous base games but I can see why people wanted those things included from a perspective of someone who wanted or expected to see those things in the new game. I do not see how anyone could honestly expect all of those thing to actually be in a base game.

On the other hand, the other list has some pretty nitpicky things included, as well. So while I'm completely biased towards the list that shows all the features being included, if I'm honest, it has a few flaws of its own.

Some of these weren't included in past base games either. While it's nice to see a list of what is or what people want to see in the game, some of it just seems like nitpicking or unrealistic expectations for a base game.

Also, about the repo man. I'm not sure so someone correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't there a tweet from a Guru about how, instead of having a repo man, if you don't pay the bills then your power gets shut off?

That particular member has a personal vendetta against The Sims 4. He/She are always bashing The Sims 4 at every chance they get. I tried to correct him/her on somethings and was brutally rebuffed and was called names.

bfluff takes some getting used to. He's a borderline troll, loves to stir things up, and is condescending and rude on a regular basis. I waver between finding him highly amusing and wanting to ship him off to Siberia to languish in the frozen tundra forever.:D

The two lists - this one and the confirmed features list - are indeed like laundry lists of minutiae. From both lists there are features that some simmers would say should be on the other list. Take Story Progression for example. Some simmers consider its absence a positive and not a negative. They want to direct everything that happens in their sim worlds whereas other players wanted it to be improved. Another controversial feature is open worlds. Some players are happy to be rid of them and some are seriously grieving for the loss. It really is close to impossible to design a game that is going to make everyone happy.

But what neither of the two lists are able to quantify or evaluate is: Is the game fun?
Maybe some can determine that based on the absence or presence of specific features. I cannot without playing it for myself.

Spot on, @Barbara917 that's exactly what I've been bringing up to people whenever they look over either list and complain about it. There's NO WAY to make an objective list. Someone tried a pros and cons list once where people added things they thought belonged where they thought they belonged and it didn't last long. Because one person might put Open World as a con while the next person puts it as a pro. And then people who don't like the look of the game complained that you can't compare a cupcake machine to the loss of CASt (as if anyone did). Yeah, the fact is, as much as some people hated what he said, Graham was very accurate when he explained that selling emotions was hard because it's not easy to compare something intangible (emotions) to something tangible (toddlers, pools, etc.) and ultimately you won't know how fun it is until you see it in action or, even better, play it yourself.

I wish people would stop comparing this game to the sims 3 and 2. It's not even fair because a lot of that stuff on the list were in expansion packs. Oh and by the way, :imnewhere:

I don't mind this list. I actually don't like the other one, at all.

The reason I don't mind this one? Because it's forcing people to open their eyes and see what exactly they are buying. It is helping people who have perhaps crossed over into the fanatical area make an informed decision.

Is there an agenda here? Definitely.

Is the list nitpicking and biased? Without a doubt.

But it does serve a good purpose, it informs the consumer and that is always a good thing. Now, when somebody looks at this list and still wants the game? Then they know exactly what they are buying and won't be making a thousand angry posts about all the things missing.

I know what is missing and I can live with it because I'm a builder and the things I love are still there (yes, CASt is gone that but is just ONE thing for me so I'm still sold on this game).

    Welcome aboard, @Jazzy6897

    @Lokisimsies
Why don't you like the other list at all?
To me, both are valuable. While it's relatively easy to find all these features and items on various websites, it's nice to have a list with all of them in one place. My personal preference would be if someone could do a list showing both so people could easily see what's in and what's out but the only list I saw that attempted that was several posts long and incredibly difficult to read because they decided to include full size images for everything. And, you would, of course, have both sides complaining about what should and shouldn't be included. So, I suspect it's better in the long run if they're separate.
