There will be more hair and clothing, I'm not sure about traits.

Pretty much what Dawnbreak said. They've explicitly stated there will be more hair and clothing but I haven't seen anyone talking about traits in light of the demo.

I don't like the fact that babies can't be taken away from the crib. I would have liked to been able to sit down with the baby and have them breast feed. They have to do everything standing up.

Is it a spambot? The message went away too fast before I could look at it closely.

It also looks like children will be more interesting I personaly grew my babies and toddlers uo as quick as possible, but as toddlers were going to be in origionaly I am optimistic they will be added at some stage. Prehaps there were problems with them and they need to work on them working better in game?

People don't want a game with bugs but when the devs cut out stuff that doesn't work, then they get mad at them. People can't have it both ways. Just like you can't have a game with high end features that will run on low end computers.

It's a T for teen game not M for mature or X while your at it! It's a soft-core life simulating game, That hasn't been patched yet or even for sale! You need to take a breather.

I don't like the ears... I didn't realize until I made my self sim (above), but you can't really change the shape of the ears. Me myself I have really pointy ears and I fell self-conscious about them and when they didn't have a pointy ear click-drag thing I felt really sad:bawling:.

I think the only thing that I'm really unhappy about is the price :greedy:
The toddlers in the sims games usually wear me out, personally. I wait for my sims to have kids until they're well into their adult stage because otherwise I feel like I don't have enough time to do anything fun with my sims.
I didn't really ever do anything with pools in my game. They're nice to look at, and in Seasons it's cool to have pool parties, but I never personally built any.
The color wheel is something that I will miss, but it's not enough to keep me from buying the game.

What I'm really worried about is clipping. Goddamn, so much clipping. Sims can pass through each other like whoa. On the other hand it solves the routing issue. LOL

Yeah, that's the only thing that really bothers me about the Sims 4, hopefully they'll fix some of the clipping in a patch or before release.

When I first heard of no pools/toddlers I was a little surprised. I'm not so fussed now, I didn't use pools regularly other than for mainly decor of large houses and as for toddlers, I really did enjoy that life stage. If we can't have them at all, so be it. If we can get them later with a ridiculous amount of content/interactions in some kind of new Generations EP I'd be fine with that too. Hopefully the EPs for TS4 wont be like the poor excuses they tried to pass off as EPs on TS3, some were little more than stuff packs and those were pretty dismal!

The thing that bothers me most right now is the lack of career choice, I get that this game is more fantasy based now and whilst my main Sim tends to be creative that doesn't mean I don't want a Sim in a NORMAL job. What happened to business, politics, law enforcement...?? Do we even get part time jobs/teen jobs? EA seems to be really secretive about this game, maybe they will tell us a boat load over the next couple of weeks, but from what I've seen of it I am not willing to spend £60 on. New extreme moods? Moodlets already effected how our sims interacted with one another, if my Sim caught her spouse cheating on her she'd be in a terrible mood and refuse any kind of romantic gestures.

I'm not expecting it to be a finished product when it is released, games rarely seem to be and require several patches. Obviously after the ridiculous amount of content from TS3 + all the EPs this is going to feel like a step back because it's just a base game. I'm just not as excited for this as I was TS3, I think open world is what I may miss the most :(

I wonder if some of the lower levels of the game's careers will look like the "boring" jobs we're used to using? It'll be easier to keep Sims in lower-level jobs than it used to be, it sounds like, which might help, pending career mods or new careers from EPs.

I did see that there are teen part-time jobs, but I can't find the list.

in TS3 careers such as business were relatively easy, didn't take up much time to make sure they were ok at work and were a steady cash flow if you wanted to focus on other sims without having to use cheats to survive lol i'm hoping they still kept in those jobs and didn't bother writing about them because it's what's expected. But the neighbourhoods are completely different to TS3 so you never know :)

It sounds like ALL jobs in TS4 will require extracurricular activities to get promotions so I don't think there's one that's an easy ride if you want to get to the top of the career.

Someone else asked about teen jobs. The following teen jobs are available:
    Retail cashier
    Fast Food
    Babysitter
    Manual Labor
    Barista

I don't think there were more than that but I'll edit if I find something different.

I have to agree with that at the moment. Very few things would really bother me and that would be freezing and crashing constantly.

I am not worried about toddlers and pools. Toddlers just sort of annoyed me and aged the first two life stages relatively fast. As long sims can get pregnant or adopt (either for storytelling or legacy), I am fine.

As for pools, probably would have to wait before they any fun anyways. I doubt they would have all the cool items right away. Maybe if they take their time to focus on certain things instead of just cramming in stuff halfheartedly in base game, I might actually care. I figured each game is different with different focuses and things will be taken out, added back in eventually or replaced.
