New Computer Advice

    Hi all,

    I'm new to the forum :)

    I was hoping you guys could offer me some advice. As a Mac user I'm vaguely flirting with the idea of buying a computer to enjoy TS4. Nothing fancy and fairly inexpensive (as in under $500). Does anyone have any suggestions?

    I've got a Toshiba brand laptop (not sure what model at the moment, since its upstairs) and it runs all my sims 3+ expansions and sims 2 ultimate collection very smoothly. I got mine for cheap since its used, but the newer ones are little expensive. Most of them aren't over $500 though.

    It's a computer with a great graphics card, that you can probably play with Ultra settings, it has plenty of memory for multitasking, a huge hard drive and a quad core processor is not bad, especially if you are just using it for The Sims 4.

    You'll need to buy the monitor separately though.

    Hmm, interesting. This looks good, but I'm not sure I need a whole computer. Was really just looking for a laptop since my Mac is my main source for work and other computing needs.
