Mystery

I would like to see something mysterious in the sims 4. something like murders,kidnaps or anything.
When Supernatural was announced i hoped that werewolfs would kill sims. maybe it sounds a little violent (sorry EA or everyone) but that was just my idea.

Doubtful, EA doesn't want to increase the rating on the game.

EA said they wouldn't in fear of losing some of their audience because of the age thing.

Does anyone have data involving the main demographics that are currently playing the Sims series?

I don't, but I would be interested in seeing them.

Yeah the Mystery concept would be great, but the criminal would increase ratings.. How about Detective work being part of a career field or of it's own, with solving missing sims reports, supernatural witnesses, political scandals, alien visitations, strange bio chemicals causing sims sickness and etc. Work in the news editing business, Police station or some type of Internet Detective website from the computer to gather mystery cases. The Detective career track you progress by solving these mysteries by going out into the town collecting suspects profiles, breaking and entering to collect evidence and writing reports.

I haven't played much of the detective career track, but doesn't TS3 already have this?

Yes they do but It's not as deep as it could be. I Also was trying to add a bit more color to it. The detective work was only in the police station, if I recall correctly. It would be cool if a simple Newspaper Journalist stumbled upon a bio-tech scandal and he needed to brake into the lab or the CEO's home to collect hard evidence. Then if he/she are caught by the police, how about a payoff or have a friendly reputation with the police can get the journalist off the hook or take a heavy fine for breaking and entering, or if you think the evidence is hard enough expose the company and get the police off your back.

Maybe if they remake the Ambitious expansion they can go more in depth.

I hope they do as well, I liked the Ambitions expansion.
