The Sims 4- CASt and Custom Content

I was thinking, while I was waking up this morning I had a hunch about the Sims 4 CASt being "gone". In CAS when you are choosing clothes I believe there are color pallets to change the color of the clothes instead of just having one style to it. Well then I also thought, people who create custom content also can create new patterns as well. So, if this is the case, and bare with me; couldn't custom patterns replace the roll of CASt? In my own opinion I think that would benefit a lot of simmers because they have their own version of CASt instead of having to go by EA's base patterns along with installed custom patterns thus both combined can slow down the process of CAS because while you want a new pattern on the clothing all of the patterns would have to load one by one so you can pick a style. So that being said, would it be easier to just use custom patterns that we like to use for the sims 4 CAS instead of having loads of unwanted styles like we have previously?

I think i saw somewhere with the people who hacked their demo, that yes, they do replace the original ones. Or CAN.

Soho! I knew that was possible. Maybe this new color pallete thing will be the new step of making CASt, but in our own way!

There are already non default recolours available. I hpoe we will be able to compress package files and craetors remember to state default or non default
