No More Hate

hehe well this site is a very peaceful and respectful site. Here, yes we all have our disagreements but we respect each other's opinions and won't attack each other. If anything we respect each others right of speech and opinion and we won't bring the negativity to the table just because everyone won't agree with our opinions.
That and the fact Moderators here keep a watchful eye out for this site so it won't turn into hell like The Sims 3 forums has. And they are active to talk with which is all the more refreshing. We share opinions, laughs, fun times, and very friendly and sane conversations here with a good level of respect. if we do not like how one is treating another yes some will respond to that person respectfully about the matter. I respect everyone on this site through thick and thin, you won't have to worry about anything negative happening on here.

That is such a relief! I've never really seen forums like this. It'll make posting a heck of a lot easier. I'm very excited to become part of this community.

I love talking to everyone on here! Everyone is so nice and friendly. It's like sitting down in a coffee shop with friends. (NO pun intended! LOL) I love it here!

Yeah, I am really having a blast on here. I think I'll migrate fully to these forums, with the exception of Stories and Legacies over at the official ones. That board has always been pretty nice, and I don't want to abandon a few threads.

I think we all have both positive and negative aspects to most situations. We each have the right to express ourselves either way. Trust me, I love complaining[in a polite way]. But it's not OK to disrespect, offend, insult, humiliate or intimidate other people's opinions just because they think differently than you. And That's what's happening on TS3 forum. Some of those people are angry, bitter and extremely rude. I never once thought EA can do no wrong, nor some sort of big evil that controls everyone who likes this game. (Especially press) Some people believe everything is a conspiracy. That's just ridiculous.
I'm really happy here. I can finally express my true feelings without getting attacked or being accused.

Those (conspirators) are the kind of people you would call the Tinfoil Hat Army!

I do not like the trolling and anger on those forums. There's a more mature way to express your displeasure with the game.

I, personally, think the game is unfinished and is a bit too pricey for the content it has. However, attacking others won't change that.

Thank you Charlotte...your a breath of fresh air...I never posted at the other forums due to the childish acts and bullying of others...When I found this forum I was hesitant to say the least but after reading posts and seeing how nice everyone was here I really found the perfect forum.
I'm comfortable here. People will bully and do drama and attack cause they have nothing better to do and some just love drama...I avoid at all costs just I don't have it in my life so why put up with it in the forums?...Everyone here is respectful of others and even tho we have different opinions no one lashes out in a bad way.
We accept that everyone is different without causing grief in here I mean we are all different and I would like to keep it that way....You guys here Rawk! and a big ShoutOut Thank you to Chris and GiGi I think this is about the best forum for Sims ...Thank you for having us here

Honestly, I don't know know why I even bother with those forums or why they are even on the Sims 4 boards if they hate the game so much. Seems like a pointless waste of time if it isn't something you are looking forward to. They are so rude/negative and hard to be an excited about the game on there.

I wish I could stay away and just stick over here, but curiosity always brings me back.

LOL it is funny when they dislike a comment and call me sheep just for having a different opinion. It is really ironic.

Their defense is always that it is an open forum for all opinions , good or bad.

No but seriously, I can respect people disagreeing with how they feel about TS4's base game being poorly handled in terms of cut features- it's more of a wishlist as someone mentioned somewhere here on the forum. As long as it stays as a mature disagreement with valid reasoning to bolster their statement (let's leave the bashing, and naming & shaming out of it, people should always have the freedom to do as they please with THEIR money) I don't see a reason to throw those individuals under the bus along with the conspirators and heretics.

Their input can be of some use for the future of TS4, companies shouldn't always be showered with praise and appreciation because sometimes it can shut out room for improvement that'll benefit a much wider range of fans. I know because I've been a part of several developing game projects where the guys couldn't even handle critics because of how much pride they were standing on.

A lot of us aren't happy with what they cut from TS4, obviously, and we should be loud about our concerns! But it's also for certain that's not enough to make us not wanna keep seeing the future of The Sims franchise, a franchise I'm sure we all love and appreciate over the past installments.

I have to say that I am really upset with people on that forum now. They are taking hate way too far now.

I am really upset at the moment as I was flagged for abuse twice for comments that weren't even rude to others or even aimed at anyone at all (one was just talking about what I was looking forward to and why I think firefighters aren't in the game yet!), but for personal opinions of Sims 3 and accused of flagging someone early on the forums publicly (which I am pretty sure I didn't, thought that case would be justified for spam. I just disliked the post because it was off topic and they were sort of being rude). People are now abusing the flagging system. This just isn't disagreeing or even arguing about the game, but can get innocent people banned. They should be ashamed at that kind of behavior.

You have to look but don't talk on the other forums. That is why I joined here. I can't wait for sims 4 to come out. Yes there are things I would love in it, but I always think you need to look on the bright side. Another sims game is always a good thing. The series has evolved so much, I am so excited to see where it is headed next.
