Most problems pointed out can be fixed later on with a patch, the game is never pristine when it first comes out.

Didn't really read it all, I was more interested in this clipping business everyone is talking about. To be honest, I'm not too bothered about clipping, as long as it doesn't freeze and wreck my game. I don't mind little glitches like that, they'll soon be fixed anyway.

Same here. Freezing and crashing like I had with Sims 3 are my only really big concerns. Other stuff is very minor and could either be fixed or won't really effect gameplay (at least for me) all that much. I can at least laugh at some of those clipping moments if I even really notice them, same can't be said for games that are unplayable or get corrupted.

I don't even want to bother reading it, it will probably be the same old negative complaints I heard for months now, nothing really new.

Well as I have learned You can't make everyone happy. Just like Sims 3 and the complaints lol you know it was gonna happen with Sims 4. You can't make people happy.

Me? I'm loving the Sims4 can't wait to get in there and start building and having fun. I'm not gonna let some one rain on my parade if they don't like the game than they shouldn't play it ..it's as simple as that...or stay with Sims 3 either way the few glitches are not enough for me to not wanna play.

I don't know why people keep bashing the game when they haven't physically played it yet! lol Don't wanna give it a chance at all smh. I think I just had enough of the negative about it in the end it's your own opinion of the game that counts

There will be a day 1 patch for sure. What exactly does it fix is beyond me, but I can probably safely assume it's a little more than half of that "shoddy" shit they pointed out on that blog, and then some.

Even then, that's not to say there won't be any future game patches that fully address those issues.

I don't think I've gotten to the live stream that that article was written after, but so far all seeing the game has done for me is make me even more excited! I do believe that everyone is owed their own opinion though, and I am willing to read any opposition with an open mind. I do agree with several of the 'shoddy' things she has listed, but I do not think they are that big of a deal to me, like some minor clipping.
I am buying this game to have a great time, and it does not have to have absolute perfection for me to do this.

I don't expect the game to be fully perfect when it comes out, no games are, there will always be a little thing that isn't 100% right, they'll fix it though. And those things definitely still aren't gonna stop me from getting it, I'm so excited!

I think I'll pass. I used to follow her blog for information but stopped when it started to contain the same nitpicking that I was seeing elsewhere. (ie: Looking for information, not opinions)

No game is perfect. As long as it doesn't constantly freeze and crash then that is what's important to me.

I think it's okay for the creator of a blog to voice their opinions, as long as it is stated that it is an opinion. It's only when facts start to get twisted that it has problems.
This said, I don't read this honey blog, so I really don't have much of an idea what her posts are like.
