I said good bye to TS3 about a year ago when I finally gave up playing due to the amount of troubles it gave me.

Great game and great features, however a little too much for my poor rinky-dink PC. Here's to hoping TS4 will actually be PLAYABLE... almost like an optimized and up-to-date version of TS2

I said goodbye to Sims 3 as I said hello to Sims 2 officially about a month ago. I got tired of not being able to play a stable game (all the freezing and crashing) and bored as well. Here is hoping Sims 4 will be better.

I said goodbye to TS3 when my game started crashing and wouldn't stop. I kept rushing through CAS so maybe I could ply before it crashed.

Yeah I'll say good bye to The Sims 3 too. We had many good memories together Sims 3!!! You'll always be special in my memories...it's just that this upgraded version of you is well newer, shinier, and yeah I can't go back to the old one once I played the new one.

    So sorry, it must end.

Goodbye and Good Riddance The Sims 3.

I hope The Sims 4 doesn't freeze as much as The Sims 3.

It's the beginning of a new era...

Sims 3 and I will have our goodbyes tonight when I'm saving my families and mods on a drive.
It's going to be weird not to see the icon on my desktop any more.

I said goodbye to Sims 3 when we got the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection for free. I think 3 was good in concept but I'd invest so much time in my sims and the neighborhood just for everything to freeze when my sim would go to bed and I'd lose it all. Well no more! Uninstalled and officially a chapter of my past. Hello Sims 4 you pretty little breath of fresh air!

I uninstalled in mid-August after realizing that I was only passing the time with Sims 3, and that buying a chicken coop hadn't fixed that, and that my Sims were really lifeless compared to what I was seeing in the Creators Camp videos. Figured I might as well regain the disk drive space. If I ever feel like reinstalling, I can. But right now I can't imagine that I will.

To be honest I haven't truly played TS3 in years. I had some attempts in-between but everytime I did, I got reminded why I left it in the first place. Almost every xpansion pack, combined with mods I considered "crucial", ended up making a huge lag fest in my old machine. As much as I enjoy the series I don't think its worth the frustration necessary to just be able to play it. Hopefully TS4 will be better.

It all depends on your perspective. A thumbs down is just a thumbs up up-side down, flip the phone and you'll think so. :p

I can't say goodbye yet. O only got a couple of weeks ago! I might put it on hold by the time I get Sims 4, though.

LOL I kinda said goodbye to TS3 6 months after it launched. So terrible, not even the expansions helped bringing me back. TS2 FTW!

I am just more than ready to let The Sims 3 go! It was a good 5 years but I am just ready to go on. The possibilities for TS4 just seems bigger and better...and even more stable.

Yea, I felt the same...I was never quite aware of "what" it was about TS3 that I didn't like until we started seeing a lot of the sims 4 and then going back to TS2 this past month (hint: emotions). But I never, never got sucked into TS3 like i did with the first 2 installments. I'm hoping TS4 will draw me back in again.

I mostly played TS3 to build houses...I spent SO long on the houses, making them look awesome, then I'd get to live mode and play for maybe an hour (opposed to the 5-6 i spent on the house).
