Invisible Sims In HUD

Hello everyone! Just posting a general glitch I came across while playing the game. No, my babies aren't going crazy. I can't see my Sims in the HUD (where their emotions is shown). This may or may not be a known glitch, but I came across it by saving my household in CAS and then returning to normal play. I imagine it is an easy workaround (save/load), but would be nice to get this patched up eventually.

And yes, this isn't the Sims 4 support forums. This is just the only place it will ever get seen.

Note: After multiple attempts to get a screenshot of the situation, my pictures all came out blank or without the HUD.

Quite a few people have reported this, having either their own or other non-player sims go invisible, unable to click them, only knowing where they are from the bubbles on top of their now-invisible heads. Hope it gets fixed soon...
