Hey everyone, I need help with the weight in Sims 4. My very 1st EVER Sim I made is NOW Big/Fat! Lmao, it is funny but I need to know how do I make Sims stay at their natural weight since coming from CAS (create a sim)??? I'm just thinking about scrapping him and my 2nd Sim(But then I would have to do OVER things, but hey that's the risk I'm willing to take though, Lol) that lives together with him, cause he got little CHUBBY! too, Lol, and his face, cause he would have a slender face now it's chubby now. I wonder if you have to eat when they are at the color orange and red(that's what I have been doing since yesterday but don't know if that's really doing anything)???? Or it is just the food(a.k.a because it's not salad and stuff, cause I really want my Sims to eat anything but are in portions though)?? Or if it's to much food when it is in yellow or green(in green but not touching the end of the bar)? I really need help, cause the body I WANTED my Sims to have FOREVER got screwed in a sense, I still love the game though, Lol. I wish there was a cheat or a turn on turn off feature if anyone knows as well too I appreciate it. :)

Lol, I hope that helps, cause I did it with a treadmill for a long time in ONE sim day I think. An he became SUPER skinny. He is more of a THICK guy(in a flattering way, Lol) but not much of a belly though. An I thought treadmills was the DEVIL!!! Lmao, just kidding but I will try though, I really hope for the best for him and my other Sim. Cause one is suppose to be thick with a little bit of somewhat a figure and the other is suppose to be the same almost but with muscles. btw Nick if you want to know who I'm talking about they are Anin and Hingo, Lol.

It's like Nick said, in order for your sim to lose weight you need him/her to work out. It won't be an immediate change but it will happen.

What about feeding it only when it gets near death ? Or as they said, you can stick with the real-life aproach of exercise, at least till someone create a mod or something for that.

That's what I have been doing when it's in red and orange, the game telling me with an icon they are hungry. Also I'm trying this method I saw in the Simsvip forums, about just clicking "workout" each sim day will help them be their normal size from the begginning they entered the game and pretty much NEVER change. So now I'm all about FOCUSING on the sim time and week and weekdays, I never paid attention till now, Lmao. An also letting them eat once a day(sim days) too. Hopefully a mod like that is made I would REALLY appreciate it, Lol, but I can stick with this routine though, Lol. :)

Something I've wondered about this, do sims just gain weight due to inactivity, then? Because I've noticed this with my sims as well. They only eat when hungry, however currently they NEVER work out because they're so busy with work all the time  So they've plumped up over time. I don't mind, they're cute regardless, but is that the case after all?

In my experience, the nrº 1 reason why Sims get so fat is because they keep eating even after being full. If they're having a meal and get full at half-way through, not only they're not going to stop, like that other half is going to be the culprit in weight gain.

Keep an eye on their diet and make them do some cardio exercise. If they're not very hungry but you don't feel like leaving them like that, because they're going to busy in the next couple of hours, then give them some quick meals (or don't, because most jobs have a lunch break anyway).

Thank you VERY much for this, I haven't tried what you said yet, but I will. Cause some of my sims are somewhat thick from the sides from front view of the torso an at the same time no belly on the side just flat and have a SLIGHT hour glass figure from front view. An I want to keep them that way and of course some have muscle definition too, Lol. Again thanks for these tips. :x3:

I haven't gone too deep yet into TS4 to know how exercising works but I think there should be two different types of work-out. I assume stuff like push-ups, jogging, treadmill etc, are for cardio exercise while gym equipment in general is for muscle gain and toning. But this is mostly speculation from my part.

In TS4 it's more about WHAT you eat. Even if you aren't overeating, if you're always eating cake and junk you'll get pudgy. Try putting your Sim on a healthy food diet. XD
