Mailbox Issue?

    is there a way to make the mailbox in sims 3 stop glowing? i know this is caused from being online but i want to be online without the mailbox glowing is there a way to do that?? o.o

    That means you have received a gift from one of your online friends! XD
    After you accept or decline the gift, the mail box will stop glowing.
