So glad I found you all in the nick of time!

Hi everyone,

I'm Matt, I'm 25 from Belfast, Northern Ireland; and boy am I glad I found you guys! I've been on the EA Forums hoping to share my enjoyment of this brilliant game with others and it's nothing but moan and groan. I understand that some people may be genuinely dissapointed but too much of it is repeating what someone else has said; and just for effect.

Flicking through the first few threads I can see how close you guys are already; and the owner Chris seems to be pretty active which is lovely to see in a community!

I'm literally hotspotting on my phone right now as I'm at holiday home - but when I'm back tomorrow I'll have a good read through everything so you may find some old threads bumped up while I get engaged in some mature discussion! It's been tough over at the Official forums you know lol.

Anyway; I've been an avid Sims fan from the day the first game was released; and have religiously stayed with the franchise. I had no expectations for the Sims 4 so that I could simply enjoy what we got - and we got a hell of a good game! And the nice thing is if I feel in the mood for open world; I can load TS3; if I want an isometric view with some good pixel-style art I'll play TS1 - the world is your oyster and that's the beauty of god Sims! How can people say this game is limited when the Sims are so damn interactive? lol

Well that's my intro - looking forward to engaging with you all over the next few days - for now I'm going to load up the game (and the new "no-highlight Mod I found here - YES!) and enjoy!

Also FYI new patch just released to fix demon baby if anyone was having issues! thankfully I wasn't!

Also yes I had to rejoice a little bit when I saw the no highlight mod as well. I had to immediately pop it into my game.

It is a really awesome community here. Everyone has a lot of respect for one another. And it is very welcoming too. I know I've felt at home since day one. Haha I'm a little corny when tired.

Lots of newcomers recently, which is really cool. At least it seems like there has been.

Welcome and I love your username! lol You'll find a lot of positive folks on this side of the pond, though we may have our disagreements likes/dislikes with the game everyone here remains respectful from what I've seen.

Haha - it's just a play on me having a bit of an attitude. I like a bit of a heat debate now and then - all in the name of fun! On Official forums it got so personal - sexism, homophobes - it was amazing the amount of factors users can use to abuse each other and not the game! LOL - I couldn't believe it!
