Favorite Career and Why?

I haven't experienced all the careers yet but I was just curious for those out there with the game, what career have you enjoyed the most? I have to say I've thoroughly enjoyed the Tech Guru/Professional Gamer career. It' so much fun and a BIG money maker. The reward you get for completing the Computer Whiz Aspiration is pretty sweet to! I look forward to giving the other careers a try before the weekend is up but I'd like to hear from you!

Thanks for the advice on the big money! If I'm honest I haven't tried them all yet - and haven't reached the top of any! One Sim of mine is following the Mixology path which I enjoy because she has a bar at home so can practice until her heart is content. The other is an "Entertainer" - because it's close to my real life job. I dislike that the only form of entertainment is Comedy though. I'd far prefer her to be a singer on an actor. But I'm sure that's work in progress!

Tech Guru, because it translates almost perfectly into what I'm looking into for my career path in real life! (The pro gamer branch of tech guru, anyway, since I'm looking into game design ;P Though, its not fair to say I've decided on that, since I also really want to do something with art...oh, god, I'm so undecided) So when I saw this career was available, naturally it was the first one I had a sim get into I also love the Artist career, since all I do irl is draw...I have to stop choosing things that relate to me, no wonder all my sims have easels all the time
I can't believe I just used this post to contemplate my life path. I'll be going now...

Tech Guru and Chief

I really like the writer career because you can also make money from writing books.

I haven't tried out all of them yet, but I liked the writer career. I made loads of money by writing books and now I get $1500 daily from my book sales.

Wow Cansin!! Looks like I'll have to give Writer a try!! lol! It's one I've really been interested in so that shall be what I do today. Have you or princess discovered which "genre" pays the most?

I think it depends on the quality of the book but my sim gets more from the ''Screenplay'' genre. For example, her writing skill is 6-7 and when she wrote an excellent Sci-fi it only worth around 100. But her screenplay which was also excellent quality, worth 250, and sometimes it goes up to 300 since their worth changes everyday, depending on the sales. I wonder if the royalties will stop, when my sim dies, though. Since she's an elder!

I like a couple...tech guru, chef and Mixologist ...I like seeing all the fancy bar tricks lol the chef makes some amazing food. Artist is a good one too that I like....Now Im trying Astronaut ...so far my sim has gotten his family to help him build the rocket ship and do upgrades...also I found out you can woohoo in space ...and the teens can mess around in space...lol too funny

I've not really tried many of the careers to be honest, but my favourite so far is Tech Guru, I just like it because it's a unique path that we've never really seen in the game before.
