Any way to get the sims to only sleep at night?

My sims start trying to go to bed at around 6PM even though their energy bars are anywhere from 25% to 50% full. I don't want them to go to bed until 10 PM or so but I have to constantly cancel their attempts to go to bed early (which means that they end up waking up in the middle of the night). Has anyone else encountered this? Is there any way to make them only go to bed when I want them to?

I have this problem too, my kids come home from school and go right to bed! And then they're up in the middle of the night. I've tried with no luck to get them on a proper schedule but they seem to do whatever they feel like. It seems when the moodlet gets red (anywhere from 25-50% left) they auto fix it themselves. Even though it would be hours before they passed out or starved. I guess you could try turning autonomy off? But I'm not sure how much that would affect the game.

Turning autonomy off is probably the safest option - I haven't done it yet but then at least you have full control! If you think your Sim can survive staying up another few hours give it a go! Let us know how you get on!

My sims will never autonomously go to bed. They take naps instead, which is really annoying. I'll see a little bed in their action list and be like okay cool they need rest. Then I come back and check on them and they're on top of the covers. This probably shouldn't bug me as much as it does haha.

Perhaps let them nap when they come home from school, but not enough so that they'll still be tired when it's 'bed time'?
