I'm interested to know whether or not Stuff Packs will make a return once again in the series. My gut feeling is telling me that they will. We had quite a lot of Stuff Packs for both The Sims 2 and The Sims 3, and I generally enjoyed what content the games had to offer.

So, do you think that Stuff Packs will return for another time in The Sims 4, and do you want Stuff Packs to make a reappearance?

In a way, I want them to return and I think they will return, and I hope that it is the only way of giving us additional content. I'm really not here for a Sims 4 Store.

Stuff Packs need to go back to Sims 2 style! Just completely full of stuff and jammed packed! I miss the Christmas Stuff Pack TS2 had and Santa and stuff!

Yeah, I completely agree with this! I did like The Sims 3 Stuff Packs, but the content in The Sims 2 was so much better! Was gonna name a few of my favourites, but then I realised each was similar in terms of having loads of great stuff!

I never played Sims 2 or bought the stuff packs so I am speaking from strictly a Sims 3 perspective but I only purchased one stuff pack for Sims 3 at a discount. They just didn't have enough content to warrant $20. Unless they increase what the pack offers I think they are better off throwing stuff pack content in with an expansion pack. Ex: the movie stuff pack could have been thrown in with Supernatural.

I agree so much with this, I was even going to make the same comment. I need them to be like TS2 ones. One my favourites was the Teen style stuff pack.

Fair point, I always forget that Movie Stuff even exists, simply because I can't recall any outstanding content that was included with it. It's quite rubbish you never got to experience any of The Sims 2 Stuff Packs, they were definitely much better, and undoubtedly worth the money.

I think they should throw 1 or 2 premium content items in there to make it worth it. Sims 3 stuff packs were to expensive to have so little content.

Maybe if they have enough content to justify the cost.

YES- the cost will be the cost,...that's out of our hands. Unless EA is going to incorporate "stuff" into the game with updates, it seems inevitable. Sims3 was my first sims experience & MAN, do I miss my stuff!!! I'm enjoying Sims4 very much, don't get me wrong...but I had SOOO many mods, clothes, furniture, jewelry, lots....I'm missing the lack of choices right now in sims4. It's what led me to this site. My fingers are tightly crossed in anticipation!

I deffinitly think they should/will return, it was a great way to get extra content without having to buy an expansion. Also with the lack of a sim store it will be very useful and can allow them to have a lot of varied stuff packs.

I'd honestly prefer a store. Don't get me wrong I like stuff packs but to be a "pack" it all has to fit in a theme, which isn't always great. I'd rather have lots of little sets on a store than a few big stuff packs.

It would be amazing if they combined stuff packs with the world gold versions. Throw together a bunch of stuff, add a new town, and then one to three premium items. That would justify the price in my mind.

I think there could possibly be stuff packs, but I would expect them to go more digital.
The new gallery that they've implemented gives them a new way to add a store directly in the game itself, instead of it being on a website. This makes it directly available for anyone playing the game (or at least those with internet connections) and would make the need for actual packs with discs unnecessary, plus it would save them costs.

They probably will add in stuff packs. They've had them since 2, might as well phat said, I don't like stuff packs. I mean, the content in them is good, but the idea of them I hate. I'd rather just get all my content from expansion packs, instead of having to buy a stuff pack that costs $20 just for a small series of furniture or clothing.

In my head, a stuff pack should contain no less than 100 items of each category it represents. For instance, if it's a "Going Goth" stuff pack I'd want to see at least 100 new clothing meshes introduced, 100 new bulding materials, 100 new objects and 100 new accessories - minimum.

I've only fully collected TS2 series, so I never experienced buying stuff from the online store. I love the stuff packs, they're a good filler whilst you're waiting on an expansion pack. But the price?? I know they're not too dear, but if they could have a couple of items that were really outstanding and interactive, it would be worth the money! I wouldn't like to see soley furniture items, but more interactive recreational items.

When I played Sims 3 (before losing my mind with the glitches and having to pawn all those games off for the sake of my computer's survival - and what was left of my sanity) I did do a bit of online purchasing. Not much.

I know why the prices of games are being jacked - it's a combo of reasons. I knew shortly after the birth of PS4 and XBox 1 that the games would get amped to boost sales for that game console. Also PC's are constantly upgraded to meet the gaming demands of the public. PC must keep up with the Microsoft and Sony if they wish to keep the gamers on board with them. So, with everything getting amped, the games go with - which means their prices are going to go up. I'm expecting Expansion Packs will go for $50 minimum now (they were $30-$40 in Canada) and Stuff Packs (were at $20) will probably jump to $25 minimum.

They always go up. I was recently at a McDonald's to buy my hubby a Big Mac combo (he does McDonald's I do Chester's Chicken) and I realized I'm paying close to $10 for what he wants. Sheesh! 20 years ago that combo was under $5 - and I recall the food being better quality then.

We do need to have stuff packs for Sims 4. It all depends on what type of stuff packs they make. There were so many different types for Sims 3 so lets see some new packs.

Should they return? The need to return. I've already become mostly bored with what little content there is.
