at least in sims 4 add seasons :D

I can't see why they wouldn't include Seasons in the base. By TS4 I would think rainy weather would be a given...The expansion packs should bring something new to the table, and TS4 is a base for everything we have seen in TS1,2, and 3.

EA loves simoleons, they would not risk losing a cent even if it made us simmers happy.

This is true, I just can't imagine that with each new sims generation to come there will continue to be a seasons.
EA would be more creative than just recreating the same game with better graphics and a higher digit on the front, 3 times in a row.
Instead of Seasons, perhaps it will be Holidays included with Seasons.

You overestimate EA they are scumbags. I would be in complete shock and would be willing to bet any chances of winning the first place prize that they won't include any past expansion pack in any future base game. In TS3 Seasons however there is more of a holiday esque to it, but no actual holiday items are included you have to download them separately from the store (for free) but those items were available way before seasons.

I think sims 4 should include weather with the base game, in fact it would become pretty boring if they had a season ep again, because all they would be doing would be remaking old ep's. I am hoping for different and more creative, new expansion packs for the sims 4. But again it's ea, so I doubt a little bit that they would do that :/

You guys make a point. It is very non-creative for EA to flat-out recreate the same EPs over and over. I think some things will be included and some won't.

But on the flipside, EA knows how to make money...so I think this will be something that could go either way.

I agree, but then again a new game to install is like a shiny new toy you have to explore it and see what it's all about. For me it was hard to go back to TS2 because of the customization tool TS3 brought.

It does seem like seasons should have been released right away. When you think about it, it's such a basic thing. I wonder if they had the concept in mind when TS3 was released or if it came to them later on (I guess that could make sense). If they knew they were going to do it from the get-go, they made an odd decision on when to release it.

It was probably planned, just not very well.

Me too, I think I heard somewhere that it was confirmed that seasons would not be included it's probably their most popular expansion so they won't so people keep buying it, more money that way I guess.
