Sims still age even though aging is turned off

I noticed that all of the Sims in my Neighborhood were getting gray hair. So I discovered that I had aging turned on, and selected "off" for both households and NPC Sims. However, they continue to age, even though I check before every game to make sure aging is off. Two of my Sims had even gotten themselves "lovebirds" while I was not playing with them! Does anybody know if this is a bug or there is any way to fix it? If there's not, I'm going back to TS3.

It's a known bug. I can't tell you when Maxis will provide a fix for it since I don't know when it's scheduled myself.

I realize this was posted in October so I was wondering how do you turn aging off? I noticed my characters in my world were aging on their own even though i wasnt playing them. Help?

Make sure you uncheck allow unplayed Sims to age. If you have it checked, they will age.
