unhappy about GPs/SPs digtal-only

People are saying the future of gaming is digtal. But since Sims series is targted to Teens that's alientating a large chunch of the market. I don't have a paypal account and I live in Canada where pre-paid cards don't work on Origin, and because there are 0 places to buy EA/Origin cards the only way I would be able to get other SPs and GPs is begging my sister to do it.

the least EA could do is make codes sold in stores OR let non-Americans have access to those stupid Origin/EA cards. I don't think sis would like be bugging her for 5 years because of the fact EA doesn't want non-Americans to access digtal content.

@Gazz no offense but I live in CANADA and debit cards do not work in Canada on Origin. I don't have a paypal account of my own. I would have to beg my sister to buy the stuff for me since she does. GPS and SPs codes are not sold anywhere in Canada..not at Walmarts, not at EB Canada games. Target is out because its went the way of the dodo.

Note: Turns out I didn't do as much research as i though I should have on Thursday night. If I had I would have discovered Dundas and Bay street in Toroonto there's a best buy selling codes to 2 of the 3 items I want.

Its far from beign the best method, but honestly i find it way better than TS3 Store.

But at least with the Sims 3 stores you could rely on contests on the site OR have people gift you a set from the Store. I am lucky enough I was able to discovered Best Buy was selling "Spa Day and Patio Stuff Pack bundle" so if i'm able to get my hands on that bundle its one less then (sis) has to buy with paypal.

Last thought if you try EA Help and ask them how can you set up a payment account they may be able to help or something from the country were you live you go into a live chat they may or may not be able to help. This the link --> http://help.ea.com/uk/origin/origin/

I live in Canada and i use prepaid credit cards to get the SPs and GPs.

I live in Canada as well and using prepaid credit cards or setting up a paypal account is the easiest way to be able to buy things off of Origin.

Being from England I buy my game & stuff packs from retail.
I buy them in bundles...more worth it I feel, bundels feel more like a fuller stuff pack

Is there an age limit on getting a credit card? Ive had one since I was a teenager and only spent money I already had, paying it off right away. It built an awesome line of credit for me and gave me access to everything I needed online.

Hm, Can't remember when i first got my credit / debit card...but I am sure it was around my early to mid teens...not like your regular cards that you use everyday it was more like savings & little things..works the same way but it was a childs one
