Maid Glitch

Having experienced this once before, I'm starting to think that the maids refusing to leave your premises is a common glitch/bug. I'm not sure if it's to do with the latest update, but it's only started happening to me since then, and I haven't installed anything that could have prompted it. They hang around my front door, knocking throughout the small hours and constantly waving hello and goodbye to my sims. I've tried the resetsim cheat and everything, but whilst this works temporarily, it doesn't stop it from happening again. Last time I actually moved my sims into a completely different lot to get shot of the maid, but after settling down in their new lives, another maid has turned up and started the same behaviour again! Does anyone have any further information on this problem and found a solution? I love the maids but my house isn't so dirty that I need it checked on at 3am!

Hmm! Sounds like this maid is stalking you . Only thing i can think of is she friends with someone in the house but once it gets between 8 and 10 pm Sim time they say something like (Its getting late i should get going) then leave

I wish it was that easy. She is constantly there and hasn't left for weeks now. I've tried everything but the option for ask to leave etc. isn't showing up with her. It's so annoying! Even if you delete the sim in question in the world, they're replaced by another maid who ends up doing the same thing! It's so weird!

I have not experienced this with a maid before, but with sims that my sims know. Sometimes I just delete the sim.
