new way to play: god mode

What I'd love to see is a new way to play the game implemented.

Traditional Mode:
Where you'd play just as you'd play all the sim games before it.

God Mode:
God Mode is exactly the same as a traditional sims game, except you are able to directly interact with your sims and your sims world. (I'm picturing something similar to the game 'Black and White'.) You are able to pick up your sims and put them somewhere else, or throw them into the sea. You can push over a granny, or give a toddler a gentle nudge to help them start walking and pick them up when they fall. Throw objects around, or organise them carefully. You can create rain to water your plants or soak your sim and his house. Create fire to burn things, wind to blow up sims skirts, snow to block the front door, lightning, meteors. You can create rainbows with a pot of gold at the end or infest your sims kitchen with cockroaches if it so please you.

Sort of like how in the game you can do stuff like drag newspapers into the bin, and turn sprinklers on and off. I rekon I'd be awesome if we can extend this interaction with the world to a new level.

I'm not seeing much of a difference between traditional and god mode.

I saw this on the sims 3-sims4 forum, and i thought god-mode was an awesome idea!! it could be the "thing' for The sims 4

well, in God Mode you could play as direct controll over any sim, as opposed to the current sim, you would not be an onlooker directing the sim, instead you would be a part of the game, interacting in ways like never before, this is an amazing idea!!

So kind of like in sim city where you could follow a sim?

Sounds fun in an evil way.

Not sure I'd care for that level of involvement. I love that my sims don't seem to realize I'm there except for when they have those creepy "breaking the fourth wall" moments and stare at the screen. Then again maybe I just like the voyeuristic nature of the traditional game

I like that they realize we're there.

I think this would be pretty great! It seems really fun. It is quite like SimCity, in a way. So I have a feeling they may decide to keep these play style separate.

Most likely, for those who want god mode play simcity, for those who don't play the sim series. I'm sure they will keep it this way for a steady stream of cash, but I kind of like they keep it separate.

That's a good idea, if this is featured in TS4 I'll definitely buy it!
