Anybody know of a good Download Manager?

when i start up my sims 3 update it goes fine but sooner or later my internet Dc's me and i have to start it over again now ive read that if i have a Download manager it would help with keeping the download in that area so when i restart it would be back where i left it at but i dont want some cheap one that gives a virus i want a good quality one thats free and will help me with this problem thank you
