What do you hope for in The Sims 4

It would be nice to have both options, I think... Having the possibility of creating your own world, with your people and have the choice of inviting a friend or family member to see what you have done with it. It would be pretty nice.

Having a Downtown like the one in Sims 2 would be awesome. It may not come already in the base game, but having much less rabbit holes would be great. ^_^

My top petpeeves and what I think that TS4 should have before I even CONSIDER buying it.

1. LESS RABBIT HOLES! How annoying is it to not be able to see what they are doing in a RESTURANT! I mean, come on! That was one of the coolest things to see, as well as clubs!

2. LESS USELESS EPs! Seasons, University, Generations, Pets and Late Night should already be in the base game at a minimum. Why add something as simple as WEATHER for $40?!

3. HAVE OPTIONS FOR ONLINE/OFFLINE EXPERIENCES! I know several people who still want this to be an OFFLINE game, such as myself! I would love the option to turn the sharing aspect on or off. Or set to like... "Invite Only" for those who only want certain people in their game to share their experiences.

4. LESS BUGS AND GLITCHES! One of the most annoying things that I find in TS3 is the glitches and the bugs. How sometimes it freezes and then crashes! I shouldn't have to save my game 10+ times each time I play.

5. DETECTOR FOR BAD CC! I love certain CC creators, but sometimes they are glitched and bugged as well as some of the products from The Exchange. If there was a type of cencor when you download the CC and content from the Store/The Exchange, that would be awesome. That would save me from having freaky looking Sims.

6. BETTER CONTENT! I HATE the hair that comes with the game. They are blah, and the hair color is usually horrible. Take some tips from some of the top Sims content creators. Seriously. Tacky and bland.

7. PROGRESSION! NO MORE SPINNING AND AGING UP! The least played with age is the baby-toddler. All the baby does is lay there. Peeing, pooping and sometimes, crying. Annoying as crap because not all babies do that. I would love to see them progress as Cupcake suggested in an earlier forum post. I would love to see them actually GROW! Something that is new and exciting without making them seem fake or anything.

8. LOWER GAME PRICES! I am SO tired of paying $40 for ONE game that isn't even worth that amount. Maybe put up sales like BUY ONE GAME, GET ONE EP and or STUFF PACK FREE! Do you know how many people would go for that? Um, I WOULD! A. Stuff packs aren't worth $20 B. Store content is NOT worth their price, unless it's FREE and C. Towns in the Store are not worth $20-25 a piece. That is just ripping people off of their hard earned money...

9. REALISTIC LOOKING SIMS/PETS! Yeah, I said it. The animals (besides the horse, unless I am wrong) looks very weird and their faces look unrealistic. There should also be an option for rabbits, pigs, and other animals that others DO consider as pets.

10. SLOWER TIME! I HATE the fact that my Sims have to get up at the crack of dawn just to get ready for school/work. It's really aggrivating and I can't do everything that I want/need to do. Just going to the bathroom takes a Sim hour... If the time could be slowed down without the Sims slowing down, that would be AMAZING! That is probably the BIGGEST complaint I have so far. There should be an option for those who want the time and or Sims movements to be faster. There should be an option for both, because sometimes people can be in a big rush to get the most simplist tasks done.

I basically agree with yall, Well if they include less rabbit holes i dont want it to be like the sims 2 where they just disappear for a few hours and come back with money that was corny, but i would like to be able to kind of control them at work get task and try to complete them.Would make the game more challenging. I think maybe they should make more realistic careers like a lawyer and prison guard judges stores owners real estate etc ... those stuff are realistic to real world. also like a open world that has different neighborhoods, base should defantely come with cars, weather, pets, wildlife, all the swim features we have now, apartments, and room mate options. Supernaturals arent a big thing that could be a EP. More Parks for baby sims would be nice and the content from aurora skies with the play pen and walker was good too. I think different school levels would be nice like Pre-K, Elementary, Junior High, Highschool, College. I think maybe a Neighborhood daycare would be bad ass, where u can just drop the kids off on the way to work if both parent work, or a nanny option as well for the sim parents who want a nanny. I could go on all day.

I agree with you guys, and I like the idea of playing with other people. I feel that would have made TS3 a lot more fun. I also want it on Linux.

That really annoys me too... My sim usually wakes up at 6am and it takes the full 2 hours 'till the car comes just to go to the toilet and take a shower... If she wants to eat, she has to wake up at 5am

I even tried to minimize all of the graphics settings to see if it would go faster... But it was no use

@AnnieMorphine: My opinion is that your hope is hard to come true. Because every new games will be developed with more powerful graphics. Since the game crazy people always have to buy better computer. So the game runs economic development. :wacko:

@christz: That is true, but when I heard of the Sims 3 they said that it was build to run fine even on an old computer... My PC is up to date, it runs the Sims 3 and a bunch of other things at the same time, but even when it's only the game on, it still has that problem... So I figured it must be a bug.
After S3's WA was released, they made an update to fix that exact problem, but after Ambitions it only got worse... I don't know if you noticed that

I'm going to throw this idea: how about more mature features? IE drug addiction, teenage pregnancy, STDs, etc.

• I hope to have faster loading, just last night it took 30 minutes just to load my family alone not to mention the laggy game performance, this is when sims is the only program running at high priority. To be fair I have tons of custom content but it's slow even when I run with out it, just not as slow.

• I'd also like to have seasons included in the base game, since it is one of the basics of real life.

• Also they will probably continue the sims store and I know this is unlikely and that there are free sites but it would be cool if the items were cheaper.

• And on one final note it would be really cool if TS4 was nothing like SimCity and by that I mean the online only thing and all the terrible-terrible bugs.

It would be great to intertwine a downtown and the residential to one seamless world. For me the worlds should actually be a world, not a town.

I wouldn't hold your breath, they have said the reasons why they don't include these things is because they don't want to push the game rating higher in fear of losing some of their audience. However there will always be mods.

I'd like to have less expansions with more substance. No stuff packs, just give them for free for once! That and a future theme. I know that would be an expansion but robots would be bad ass. Loved the robot cleaner from Sims 2.

I wouldn't count on it. EA loves, money and they love to create things with less value and hike up the price, I mean no offence I love the sims and won't ever stop playing, but it is true.
