no more rabbit holes...

WHO AGREES!? i mean just imagine if your sims was a doctor, or a athlete, and you could actually go in the workplace with them and help them make work decisions, it would be so much better that way! what do you guys think, what are some places from the sims 3 games that were rabbit holes that shouldn't be?

I think some rabbit holes should stay- even partly but still. It's important for producers for game to work on as many computers as possible. I'd like to have an option like for example: I have two sims and they're working in different places, so I should have an ability to decide which sim I would like to follow to work and then I would see what is inside the building and my sims coworkers etc. and I help him to make decisions...however other sim in the same time disappear in rabbit hole and do things automaticly let's say the way it could be decided in sims 3. Of course there could be an option to observe two sims without any rabbit holes. Hovewer with bigger sim families switching rabbit holes on/off on each sim could be quite handy.

I agree, but I also think that the rabbit holes should be remade into a shell that you could actually go inside of. Like the apartment buildings that came with The Sims 3: Late Night and the buildings that came with The Sims 3: University. I would've liked the exteriors of the many Bistros to be shells so I could go inside and build the interior. Some of the rabbit holes like the mausoleum should stay how they are where the sims disappear inside of them.

I'm pretty sure that there will still be rabbit holes for jobs at least, as Ryan Vaughan said "you can go out & play through certain parts of your career" in a magazine interview when asked if we could follow our sims to work.

I don't like the rabbit holes for things like restaurants, but I don't think I'd want to follow my sim to work at an office.
I do hope we get professions like we do in the Sims3 where your sim can work from home/be a self employed painter etc... though.

It's been discussed all over the forums and concluded that no one likes rabbit holes.

They had less in university

Which is a huge reason why I loved university, you could see what your sim was up to but you didn't have to take control and do everything.

You could even watch your sim fall asleep in class. XD

yes! rabbit holes are so annoying! i know they make the game not lag as much but still! they don't improve out gameplay at all

Maybe they can make an open world concept without lag as well without rabbit holes...I can only dream.

yes. It is a dream at the moment.
I just hope the sims 4 can really impress us!
