Sims 4 hair & haircuts

By dynamics I mean how the hair moves around.

Yes the hair... I am fine with it to! But yes more cooler and better styles would be better!

I think this would create a lag in the game for those without top notch computers.

It would be so great if hair moved again like in The Sims 2. I would like most of the The Sims 3 store content hairs to be in The Sims 4. I want all of the Afro hairstyles, elegant hairstyles, rocker hairstyles, etc. Even a couple of the hats.

Anything that could make my Sims have character.

There are only a couple hairstyles that I liked in the game, but that was before the CC started to be made and looked good. So, I use a lot of CC, particularly hair. I would like some more ethnic hairstyles not just an afro or dreadlocks either. There are countless styles, one only needs to find or look up a catalogue whether in English or another language to get ideas. I like diversity and would really like to see more of it in sims 4, some in the base game, and some more with every EP. However if the hair despite being more ethnic does not appeal to me, I'll still be looking out for CC. But, at least for those who never use CC, they'd still have that variety to choose from. Unfortunately, I have no clue how to mesh or if there is any good tutorials out there that are videos as I am a visual learner. But when it is just pictures and no movement at all... I don't really get anywhere.

Hairstyles I would like would be ones I've seen in The Big Bang Theory, Downton Abby, Zero Hour, Junjou Romantica, Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi, Sailor Moon, Under the Dome, Once Upon a Time and in Disney Movies, or WB Princess movies and from the bands like Fahrenheit, Shrek, The Cosby Show, Family Matters, Period Dramas, and DSKB, etc.

SIMS 4 PLEASE TAKE MY IDEA INTO CONSIDERATION!! the hair on the sims looked very stiff, and plastic like,i really hope that you can add in longer hairs, and ringlet curly hair. Also i would greatly appreciate if the hair actually moved around in the wind, or even just when they move, the hair moves along with them flowing and stuff that would be awesome! JUST DONT MAKE IT LOOK TO PLASTIC OR ELSE I WILL BE A VERY SAD SIMMER

I so agree^^. I hope for a very intuitive tool for creating cc for game, in some way as it was in sims 2. The time I get the sims 4 in my hands will be when I'll try to make a video how to make your own cc, of course if anybody will be interested^^.

Really? I liked most of the hairs from TS2. I hope that they bring s few of those back. I hate most of the CC hairs because they look fake and are way too shiny.

I'm really picky about the CC hair (all CC really) I don't download the fake looking stuff. You just have to hunt for it, but almost anything is better than the base game content clothes, make up, hair, everything.

CC is the best thing to make any sim game prettier. Orginal additions don't give this much to the game as fanmade CC (if it's only about the look) .

It really depends where you're getting your content.

It truly does, and it sucks that you have to pay money for TSR. The Sims Resource, and most of the content on the site is fake looking as well. I have to really dig for CAS hair, clothes, and stuff, but mostly end up finding furniture from Mutske(she has the best furniture in my opinion), but anyway back to the hair.

You'll probably just end up frisking the web for non-shiny, Maxis style sims hair. Or you may like using that revolting raon hair.

There are places to get all payed content for free, if you are familiar with Reddit just go to reddit.com/r/thesimscc explore there for a while and don't forget to check the side panel to the right.

Thank you for that tip! I never thought of going to reddit for things related to the sims. I was always going to http://sunsetsims.mustbedestroyed.org/ to get some of the content and some new roof types. I'll check that out though.

It would be so cool to be able to choose hair length, with sliders and customize the haircuts. But I think it's clear that's not going to happen from what we've seen... Oh well. I'm still excited for the new hair.

It's just a huge data base of sites for content you can obviously also make requests for things you can't find, I have never been disappointed.

Wouldn't it? I honestly thought that they had it down by now. I at least hope that they left in hair color customization, because I haven't seen any Sims 4 sim with any hair dye, highlights, or recolored tips, just 1 solid hair color. Hopefully they've added it in.

Yeah. But I think it would be better if that was part of the makeup section (meaning it wouldn't be a genetic thing).
We'll see how that works out.
