Sims Soundtrack Poll

I know it's rather silly, but if you're like me; you play the game hours on end and end up developing a preference. Personally mine is Sims 1.

I don't remember the soundtracks from 1 & 2 (old age! ) but I like that 3 has an music style choices aplenty (tho there are still a few i'd add!) so i'll go with 3.

They're all different... Sims 1 had some pretty good music and was also very classical, I can't actually remember them all, I'll have to go listen again (after 100 years xD).
I love the ones from Sims 2! I remember I used to mute everything except the music, and had the stereo on all day
Sims 3, I don't like that much, and now I play in Window Mode and watch videos, so, It's ALWAYS mute (SimStudio's gonna kill me for disregarding the sound altogether )

For me, it has to be The Sims 1. Everytime I hear songs included in the game, or any expansions, it just floods back so many memories of playing the game.

Me too, for a time I had it on my ipod.

The Sims 2 sounded weird... And not the bad kind... I wouldn't mind if TS4's soundtrack was kind of similar to it

I almost never have a radio in sims 3 on, unless it's a party.

I also prefer The Sims 1. I think some of The Sims 2 songs and most of The Sims 3 are under the wrong radio stations. Especially with Pop, Indie and Songwriter (is that even a genre??). It feels like they added some artists under pressure and didn't know exactly which category they would best fit in. By the way, I'm loving The Sims 3 soundtrack. I listened to the blues station on a gameplay video and I really liked it. I hope the other stations have songs that fit in too.

The Sims 2 for me. The Sims 3 just didn't really have that vibe I felt from Sims 2.

I love Sims 2 music, basically my MOST favorite soundtrack from Sims 2 was the Junkie XL soundtrack. On youtube when I found the video, everyone was agreeing that, that song was the FULL nostalgia effect for the Sims 2. But that's just me and them really, it came with Night Life, Lol. But also concerning just songs that you would here on the stereo, I liked it when it was a pop/techno vibe cause that felt like what most of Sims 2 soundtracks was trying to portray a little bit to me, more modern almost futuristic type vibe but yeah. (But yeah me personally I love songs that can give me a nostalgia feel with chills up my spine the most)

I actually liked the Sims 1 music...I would be humming along as I play lol omg we called it elevator music....when I was younger was always playing the Sims...
