Possible realise date for the sims4

    Hello to all wensday april 2 i had to go to my local shoping center to buy a black ink cartridge for my printer i stop at my local ebgames (*gamestop in the us) to look at new games that came out i inquire to the sale clerk if he had a possible realise date for the sims4 he told me june 3 2014 and if you look at the walmoart link http://www.walmart.com/ip/The-Sims-4-Premium-Edition-PC/27943161 you will see june 1 this must be for us and canada this would mean if its true 2 months from now what i do not know is this just the pc version or do this also include mac computers then if these are the offical dates then why did they say fall 2014 this is so confusing and also the lack of info as well will have to keep watch.

    It is confusing! Wonder if EA expects people to just buy it, without really knowing anything about it?

    The stores might think it's going to be a June release, because The Sims 3 was released on June 2, 2009. However, the Sims games have always had different release dates.

    If EA would just give some official information on the actual release date, there wouldn't be so much confusion.

    I think we should all start bombarding Twitter as to why all the stores seem to think this.

    That would be amazing if it was June 1st. That would be at the beginning of summer, especially for students like me. But nope, the earliest it may come out is in the fall according to EA (even though there is nothing really being shared now).

    While Walmart still has their release date set to 06/01/2014 (I think their customer service department going to be very busy that day!), Amazon.com now has their release date set for December 31, 2014.

    That, of course, is not even in time for the holidays. By then, I'm always broke!

    I really hope they will not wait until September to announce the real release date, but instead announce it during or just after E3. 'Cause an almost January release is just too depressing. [​IMG]

    i so agree with you :( because me december 31 2014 i will be on my cruise so this would mean i would not be able to pick up and play sims4 until 2015 [​IMG] and [​IMG]

    Welcome to the forum Emina :) we don't know the exact release date just yet although it's slated to be this fall (maaaybbee this summer) but i'm guessing Bosnia will get it at the same time the rest of Europe gets it. If not i'm sure you'd be able to import it.

    Yep, no one knows yet. The official response is EA will announce the release date during September.

    December 31st 2014 is just a placeholder date (I guaruntee you) when Amazon doesn't know when a product will launch, but knows it'll launch this year then they typically always just put the release date as the last day of the year just to be safe.
    It'll be before then I promise.
