Ramsey Wishacy

I've been playing and writing this wishacy for a few months now. I am thoroughly enjoying this story and my sim. If you have some free time, please feel free to find the link in my signature and read my story. If you are not sure what a wishacy is, the link to the rules plus the few I added are on the first page when you arrive on my blog. I hope you enjoy the story as much as I have writing it!

I can't seem to add my picture into the signature along with my link attached to my signature. I can't find any instructions to do this, so I'll just add that here.

I so did not know about the click moodlets thing. I just found out how to delete moodlets using boolprop.

I know and sometimes I SO want to use that delete moodlets cheat to get rid them, but I can't. Not cheating is so tough at times. My sister used to asked me "what fun is it to cheat?". I said, "I can do ALL kinds of things that I wouldn't normally be able to, if I can cheat." (Especially their needs being up all the time or if I just move them up sometimes.) However, not cheating is very challenging for me along with trying to get past this first generation.

Yes! I usually use the cheat in exceptions when my sims keep tapping their feet and whining in near death situations. Usually I would do it nrmally.

I love the tapping of the foot! It makes me laugh!! What annoys me is when they whine about not being able to complete an action (like something is in their way) because then I have to fix it. I just found out about a lifetime point item called "Moodlet Manager". I might need to get it if I can get my sims points up again (already bought a bunch of stuff recently) because it is 60,000 points. However, it takes away all the bad moodlets when you click on the right option on your sim. My sims being celebrities always seems to be falsely accused, so it would come in handy. It drives me a little crazy, but since it is a negative moodlet, I feel free to remove it whether by suing @ the courthouse or trying to talk to people to dispel rumors. I figure suing is faster and easier.

Lol yeah the tapping is quite the enjoying thing to watch. But it drives me to insanity when they stomp and whine like little children. They act like idiots sometimes! My Vampire sim died because he was thirsty and I kept directing him to the refrigerator because no option for drinking blood would pop up and instead of autonomously going to the refrigerator to drink, he decided to sleep! When his sleep need was rather decent! But yeah I heard about being a celeb in late night was a nuisance.

I just caught up reading your blog...not BLUE!!! You make me want to do a Sim Blog. Yours is great. I love it!

@ Simon Graceffa - Seriously? Was that vampire, perhaps, absent minded or something? LOL!! Silly vampire!! LN is kind of annoying at times, but I actually have gotten used to the paparazzi's. There are two things I wish could be changed, though:
1. they should NOT be allowed on houseboats at all or at least limited to a certain area (had one in my bedroom taking pics once) or at least allow us to lock the doors on the house boat (like a house)
2. we should have an option on (all sims) to "leave now" or something - Sims 2 had it and I loved it, but not in Sims 3 - all we have is "stop doing that"

@ dawnderee - I've learned SO much from this story so far! It's forcing me to slow down and enjoy the characters, which in turn, hopefully lets me get to know them (in my head) better. Oh, thanks so very much for reading it!! There are so many others out there who made me want to start as well. It's SO incredibly inspiring to read other sim stories! I could seriously read all day and still not get caught up with all the wonderful stories out there!! I am so very glad you enjoyed reading it!

I'm hoping to get another chapter up by the weekend, but I sort of got side tracked. I got caught up in a contest (actually 2) and I've been busy doing those. Yesterday, I took my alien sim (from another story) and hooked her up with a genie! I set him free from his lamp (which I've never done before, thus the purpose of the contest) and now they are married and just had twin boys. I just have to get a few more pics and then I'll enter that contest. It was so intriguing and I didn't know what it entailed until AFTER I'd already entered the contest. Oh, well, more fun and I get to cheat ALL I WANT! It's actually a good break for me. It will make me enjoy my wishacy family all the more when I return.

But no, my sim was actually a genius. When he died, he woke up, got up, shuffled in place and grasped for his throat and crumbled to dust.

@lovesstorms - i need to slow down, too. i have a tendency to make my sims rush through everything (hence my new Harmony Honeywell who was pregnant and married on her second date). i rush through their careers, leveling them up as quickly as possible. reading your blogs made me realize it's okay to take my time with them. i'm reading some of your other blog posts as well and they're so fun! the alien/genie paring is intriguing. i want to enter some of these contests - they sound so fun! plus, it's nice to have other people to talk to about my sims...my friends don't really understand my gaming.

I love the story and your pics! How did you get the pic of Caitlin on the bus?

I just right click on her face (on the screen to your left that shows your household). This centers on your sim. Then, I just zoom into her and move forward (with the mouse) until I get close enough. Eventually, you'll be on the bus. It will look like you can't see inside the bus, but if you keep slowly zooming in and moving inside the bus, you'll eventually get it. You can also do that with cars. Oh, and I also hold the scroll button down on the mouse and move my mouse up a little to get a better angle. It's hard to explain, but hopefully, you can play around with it.

I also use a camera mod (LOVE IT!) from Burnt Waffles. However, you can do the above WITHOUT the camera mod.

Finally!! I got my next chapter up! Sorry it took so long. Blame it on a contest and a game from the Sims 3 forums.

Again, a wishacy is basically a legacy where I follow an heir around and write their story. I definitely have to be creative at times (whether they do dumb things or my CC causes issues). I hope you will help me choose who will be the next heir/heiress I follow to continue the Ramsey Wishacy. If you haven't read the story or don't even care, then no problem. I'd still love to have your vote. There is a synopsis with all four kids and their pictures. This will help if you don't really know what is going on or haven't caught up yet.
