Is Sims Height for sure?

Ive seen threads saying that *For sure* it won't be in the game, but also some saying *For sure* it will be. Im a taller guy and i'd like to represent that in some Sims, its weird to be the same height as old man Jenkins and Grandma Wilkens next door. If not, is there a chance it could be released in a later expansion? Or is that ruled out entirely because its too difficult to implement different height with in game interaction?

Maybe it's not ''too difficult'' but for sure it needs a lot of time to work on... let's say the teenagrs/kids height...it could be used as a two more deafault heights for young adult/adult/eldery sims. Just this one change in settings could give so much more depth to the gameplay. Moreover, the coding for these heights is already done or is due to be finished...well, why not use that and make fans happy?? '

It's been confirmed this will not be a thing they considered it for a moment but they would have to specify each interaction for each height.

Ya i thought it has been confirmed too! I am really happy for height sliders like my family can be genetically short.

Yeah Nya it may be for that reason. Honestly there aren't a lot of games with height differences unless they are a main character or something. Plus TS4 will have custom content, clothing and stuff it would just be too complicated to program the system to adjust clothes for both short and tall people.

For example lets say there is a short designed on a normal sim, but someone makes a super short sim, well that short may just look bunched on them or make their torso look jacked up, who knows.

Height would be nice to have but I am not really too concerned about it.

Makes sense to me too , but I have a feeling they would still have to do it for each height. It sounds like a hassle I think it would be worth it though.

I've noticed that the sims actually look a bit "tall" by comparison, especially the sims who are slender. It would be cool to be able to choose at least s short, medium, and tall range but it looks like we'll have to wait until TS5 before that happens.

I can understand why it's not going to be in the game, given the interaction clipping problems that would arise. I'm a short person myself, and would love a short sim-me. I suppose we can always hope, that in time, someone will create a mod for height variations in the Sims 4.

I agree with that small medium/average and then tall as options, then they could just work on those specific heights for the interactions without making it a slider.

I loved using Height Sliders in TS3 but it did make some of the animation a bit buggy.

But I thought it was totally worth it! (especially for adding detail to my sims, and for photoshoots) I looked right past the bugs! lol
