NO TODDLERS, Does This Change Things?

I'm very upset about them taking out toddlers as well...

I'm not upset. I've never really enjoyed that stage. It does seem like a hiccup in the flow, but I'm all for fewer diapers! LOL If they add them in the future, I hope there is more to them than just to potty train and teach to walk and talk. I don't think I'll miss them at all.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! Silly me, I thought with the way toddler stuff sold like hotcakes in the store, they would GET IT and actually give the toddlers and babies MORE stuff!

It really doesn't for me, since they said toddlers would be their number one priority.

Quite honestly, I never really played toddlers too much. In TS3, I was bored with just a baby and made them grow up to a toddler but after a good few sim days (2-3) I was like this is taking forever!!!! So I made them teenagers and let time take its course from there on out. So, I'm surprised but at the same time not entirely all that affected by it.

I CAN'T DEAL WITH THIS. BUT IM STILL BUYING YO.

I think its a total mistake to leave out toddlers. Pools, we could always get later. But toddlers?? The teens already look the same as the adults and young adults, they don't really look different, so you're basically going from child to adult in one fell swoop already. Baby, child, semi adult/adult whatever. I will miss toddlers, they were one of my favorite ages.

I'm actually okay with it. Toddlers are great, and I'm sympathetic towards those who really love them, but this doesn't bother me at all. Personally, the adults *and sometimes the teens* are what draw me into this game. Families are great, however, I cannot stand to play with children, toddlers or babies for too long.

I Get What You Are Saying, I'm Sad That Life Stage is Gone But Theres No Need For Whats Going On All The Insults it's Not Like There Just Insulting The Game There Insulting The Sim Guru's Who hardly get a say in what stays in the game. If You Ask Me People Have The Right To Be Upset And Share There Opinion but no need for personal insults.

Even the sims from before are a little confused

Except that Emotions are not new at all. My sims2 sims are pretty much emotional, with right to diferent walkstyles (not by choice but because emotions) and right to interaction refusal. And i dont need a huge colored banner to notice that they are very sad,mad or happy.

Wich brings us back to what is actually really new :

Nice. But it doesnt seen good enough to justificate the full price for a game that lacks so many features.

Yeah, I rather to see something more actions than just emotions. I don't want to zoom Sims' faces to see their emotions.

I'm really not affected at all, I have a lot of faith in the developers to deliver us a great game, I also think they'll bring back pools and toddlers in the future, I read on twitter that they didn't include toddlers because they wanted to improve them and make a richer life stage, so I hope they accomplish that. Now pools were removed because they made space for more new things in my opinion, I'm not mad about it, it's just that not everything can fit in a base game, so we're gonna have to see what they give us on september, and tell them what we want in the future

It's strange. There was the CASt dilemma, which completely shocked me but I got over it. Pools not being there doesn't bother me much, and strangely enough toddlers don't either (even though it was a big shock).

I hate toddlers in the sims 2 and 3. They're needy, take too much time, and are just all around annoying. I love babies because they aren't as bad. They cry when hungry or smelly, but overall don't require the need to be taught how to walk or talk. All they do is sleep and eat all day, leaving my adult sims time to do their own things. So, past all the shock of them EXCLUDING toddlers, I'm okay with this.
