Arrow Key Movement

I got this idea based off of the analog stick free movement from the sims 2 for console when you could make your sim move with the stick like in other 3rd person games. It would be fun to do so.

It sounds pretty cool, but so many games already use that type of movement. The way you move Sims is one of the ways that The Sims is unique- not as many games have this type of movement. If they were to put that in the game, I would hope that we have an option to turn it off, simply because I am very happy with the movement already.

It'd be an option. Like classic movement and regular movement.

I like the analog stick idea myself.

Using the 'mouse click + go here', over and over, is a repetitive annoyance. A simple click on the spot you want the Sim to go too, without the 'go here' confirmation would be much simpler. I think it isn't seen in other games for a reason. Repetition is both boring and annoying.

I agree that it would be very nice to take direct control with an analog stick, and skip all the clicking and confirmations all together.

YES! I LOVED that in that game, it was soo cool! I don't think they will for PC though :c It's easier with a point and click game, and i guess that's understandable :/
