Forum Updates, Development etc.

WOOHOO!! Glad to be here I am sorta excited for TS4, but I would love to see more progress towards TS3 before we totally move onto the next game in the Sims series. At least a couple new EPs that people have been wanting *cough* Open for Business *cough*
I never got to play OFB or any of the other awesome EPs from TS2 except for Night Life and University. So I feel cheated that I missed out on so much. :/

Finally! I've been waiting years for a new game to come out. Can't wait to hear some of the new features that are going to be added.

I am excited too, but I am starting to feel bad for my TS3 family. It has been my tradition to abandon my sims for the upgraded model, and I'm afraid TS3 and I won't last long once TS4 comes out. I started playing the original Sims when I was a teen and then whe TS2 came out, TS1 got shelved, and that is where my TS2 is now. I just can not imagine trying to go back and play it now. I would feel claustrophobic being confined in my lot for the majority of the game with the only way out through a loading screen. I just can't imagine living in the TS2 world now that I have had all the freedoms of TS3, and if EA gives us their best (which I'm sure they will) TS3 will pale in comparison to TS4. Well, I suppose I had better sim it up so that I don't leave any rock unturned when most likely my TS3 will take it's spot on the shelf.

I simply can not wait, let the theories of The Sims 4 begin!

Yup, just a little over a week before it ends and a little over two weeks before the winner is announced. Personally I'm curious to how they will pick the winner. It was said the more posts you make the higher your chances are, maybe it's a random name generator through the site.

I second that. I'm curious as to how a winner would be picked. Most competitions you see feel like winning the lottery, but for some reason I actually feel like I'm in the running to have a chance at winning this one. I've never properly been active in a forum and I've got to say, it feels quite good seeing the regular names. It really does make you feel like part of a community.

It is most probable that it the names may be chosen by a program.

Yes i love the community feel to the site, it makes me want to stick around and stay active. I too never really participated in a forum before.

Then I'm glad we could be part of this forum together. I quite like being in a forum to be honest. I thought it would just be full of disputes and arguments but everyone here seems really friendly

I kind of wish their were more debates not arguments just debates of sims.
