Has EA mentioned a Sims 4 Beta at E3?

    I'm curious to know if anyone has found or read anything regarding a beta at E3. We're a few months from launch so it might be a bit late, but it confuses me as to why a game as big as this hasn't had a beta yet and we've seen so little.

    Is the game going to be super buggy at launch or what? EA games are notorious for messing up at launch.

    EA has that habit of showing their gameplay trailers which does not even reflect the final product. I am sure that most of us, playing the Sims before know that that world and everyplace is going to be filled with people like it was at that sorry excuse for a gameplay trailer.

    But yeah with TS3, they were showing a lot at this time before the game came out, had an email vip program, new gameplay coming out a few times a week.

    This time, they are so secretive. Are they waiting till the last second where we'd be too excited about the game enough to not want to cancel it then show us it then?

    Anything shown at E3 was Alpha. Beta will be the release since that's how EA rolls ;-)
