It's not REALLY play early. But that's how I see it, Lol. But at least you can download it early/install it, cause I have been hearing stuff that the downloads slows down when to MANY people are downloading/installing all at once. Never really thought of it like that, I had fast downloads and installs, like the day of Sims 4 cas demo release, didn't have problems but bet so many people were downloading when I was but I will never know though, Lol, but I believe it won't be bad for me just gotta wait and see, Lol. I'm buying it on the day of the release off of origin for myself.

Damn. I probably won't be able to install it for WEEKS , because you need Origin to install it , and the servers will be too busy to let me install. Damn it , damn it , DAMN IT.

I'd highly advise people to download it early, pretty much for the reason @The book thief stated. Origin's likely gonna face some major server issues on the 2nd of September.

I agree with you Korvaz. When I got the demo to download I had no issues but I noticed a lot of people complaining that they couldn't get the demo to install or it took them forever to load it. All I know is I pre ordered it on Origin and plan on playing as soon as it's released..I hope things run as smoothly as it did when I downloaded the demo...Keeping fingers crossed

I figure that with a good handful of days to pre-download, there's lots of time to fit that in. Then there's only release-day download of the last corner of the code before playing, even if that corner takes 10 minutes to download instead of 10 seconds. Preordering FTW.

Hm, I pre-ordered from gamestop, but seeing as my disc drive isn't working I went over and switched it to a digital copy. I dunno if that's the same thing as preodering it from Origin or not. Think any of you can answer that? D:

I pre-ordered the physical copy. Good news it that won't take as long to install as I don't have to download it from Origin (we all know they are going to have a lot of traffic once you are allowed to download), bad news is that might have to wait slighting longer because probably won't get the game in the mail until that afternoon and having to register it might be a pain because the site will have a lot of traffic as well. Maybe I will get the game that Monday and prepare to install it so it is ready.

And this is why Disc-installs are a good thing

Ops, I meant to make that a reply to the comment about Origin being overloaded.

I feel uneasy about digital downloads. I've always felt this way for some reason.

Yeah, I prefer to have the discs, too. Especially considering how slow my internet is.

But even with disc version , you have to use Origin to install it , correct?

I doubt it requires Origin to actually install the game, but to play it. I have no interest in Origin, therefore I remain in "Offline/Invisible" mode to minimize as much involvement as I get from it.

I'm not sure whether I'm getting the physical copy or the digital one. I pre-ordered my game at my local electronics store (Best Buy) and they told me to come back on the exact same day the game was released. I doubt I'll get the disc... (I didn't pre-order online I actually bought it there as a pre-order card) You guys are so damn lucky.

You can always call them and verify your pre-order, as far as I know GameStop has both a physical and download option available.

Actually...don't mind my post about the Origin thing, I wasn't using both halves of my brain.
